Rob Zombie talks Halloween:
You guys know I'm not looking forward to most of the remakes that are in production right now, but Rob Zombie's version of a new Halloween flick gets me pretty exited. The director gives an update, check it out:
"I am basically making a prequel and a semi-remake of the first film all in one. So really in theory there will be more original content than remake content. That's why I don't like the word 'remake'. I think this aspect of the story is very important in order to bring new life to the character of Michael Myers. The film begins in 1978.
I wouldn't even go near this project if I didn't feel like I had a fresh, worthwhile approach to the material. Besides, I'm not touching one single frame of Carpenter's classic. That film will remain as it always has."

Brittany Murphy will voice the new Disney CG-animation Tinker Bell. "I've had the good fortune of playing many interesting characters, but none as magical as Tinker Bell," said Murphy. "To give Tinker Bell a voice for the first time in history is such an honor."
Owen Wilson is set to star in the comedy Drillbit Taylor. The story revolves around two high school freshmen who are targeted by the school bully. The boys hire a man played by Owen Wilson to protect them. The film is based on an original idea by John Hughes. Chris Brown and Seth Rogen wrote the screenplay. Source: The Hollywood Reporter

Reilly, Gary Cole, Michael Clarke Duncan, Leslie Bibb and Jane Lynch. Check out the new trailer right here. The official website is also up, you can enter it here.

Josh Hartnett, who starred in 40 Days and 40 Nights, is in final talks to grab the leading role for 30 Days of Night. Sounds like a prequel to 40 Days and 40 Nights, but it isn't. David Slade is directing the film based on Steve Niles' graphic novel about a sleepy Alaska town where the sun sets and doesn't rise for over thirty days and nights. From the darkness an evil will come that will bring the people of the small town to their knees. Source: The Hollywood Reporter
