Newsflash:
Willem Dafoe will join Jeff Goldblum in the Holocaust drama Adam Resurrected. The story centers on a circus entertainer who was spared the gas chamber in order to entertain other Jews as they were marched to their deaths. The film will be directed by Paul Schrader.
Steve Oedekerk (Kung-Pow, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls) will rewrite Ripley's Believe It or Not!. The film is being developed by Jim Carrey, who will play Ripley, and Tim Burton, who will direct.
Guillermo del Toro is in negotiations to direct a new take on Tarzan. "I'd love to create a new version that is still a family movie, but as edgy as I can make it," Del Toro said, "There are strong themes of survival of a defenseless child left behind in the most hostile environment."
