Rambo IV story details:
A film treatment of Rambo IV appeared online all over the web. The story could be a bit controversial but it's highly topical. Here's the press release:

RAMBO IV: HOLY WAR, Internet Fans urge Rambo IV to the Screen

Internet Fans of a film treatment of "Rambo IV: Holy War" are urging the film to the screen. The new Rambo film sees Rambo fighting Islamist terrorists in New York, with his Afghani-son the leader of the terrorist contingent.

A media production company based in London, United Kingdom has released the treatment for "Rambo IV: Holy War" on the Internet, causing fervour and controversy on film websites.

The treatment sees the iconic super-soldier first played by actor Sylvester Stallone in 1982's "First Blood" return to the screen as the matured sage; he's married, with an adopted son, influenced by Islamic Sufism and now working as an environmentalist at the United Nations. When the UN Assembly is hijacked by sadistic Islamist terrorists, Rambo tries to take the terrorists down, knowing that his Afghani-adopted son, Tomask, is part of the terrorist mission.

Well, what do ya think? Could be something, right?

Wesley Snipes talks Black Panther!:
Wesley Snipes talks about playing another superhero; Black Panther!
"I've wanted to do the Black Panther for years now and if the fans want it, I would be honored to bring T'Challa to life. I read the post where Black Panther was the topic and I'd like to say it wouldn't be all that difficult for me to play another comic book character. I've played many cops, dads, hustlers, FBI agents and guys running down the street and more time than not I've been able to create distinctive personalities. It would be a fabulous challenge to animate another black comic book. To make the impossible, possible and the unbelievable, believable is one of the greatest dreams an artist has."
Sounds great, but first we get to see Wesley Snipes as The Daywalker in Blade Trinity, hitting theatres next month.

Transformers update!!!:
IGN FilmForce got the chance to talk to Transformers' screenwriter John Rogers! Here's what he had to say:

What drew you to the world of Transformers? Were you a fan of it beforehand?
"I was a big fan as a kid. It was one of those tricks of age that once I grew out of it as a toy, I kind of assumed it no longer existed. It was a bit of a shock to find out they're still such major cultural icons. My new hobby is collecting ads from around the world starring cars transforming into funky robots. It's amazing how many there are. From a writing standpoint, what drew me to it was the chance to write wide-screen fights on a scale not often done in Hollywood, and also cool human characters faced with such bizarre revelations."

Finally, what can we expect from the human characters in this story? Anything you can reveal about what they do or who they are?
"It's a big-scale movie. Ordinary humans who discover the robots, scientists who tinker with That What Must Not Be Tinkered With, and cool soldier-types teaming up with our new Autobot friends. The name "Witwicky" will be spoken. Even now, I say too much."

Lauren Shuler Donner talks Wolverine:
Producer Lauren Shuler Donner talked to CHUD about the X-men spin-off Wolverine! Here's a clip:

So about the Wolverine movie - what angle are you taking? A lot of fans are excited about the idea of incorporating the Asian adventures of Logan, plenty of ninjas.
"The plan is to do more of an origin story for Wolverine. The first one. If that's successful, my deepest desire - I'm not reflecting Fox but you never know - my deepest desire is after the origin story, which David has worked out beautifully, it's really good - if that works, the second one could be the Mariko, ninja story."

You really know your stuff!
"That whole Mariko love story is phenomenal because he gets down to his basest self and it's so cool. That's a great storyline. But I think you have to do the origin first to educate the broader audience, and once you've done that and they know his history and what really happened to Logan then you can move on. You can go on to Mariko and her father and that stuff."

Hugh Jackman is signed on to that or are you willing to go with another Wolverine?
"No! No! I would never go with a different Wolverine. In fact, we met, Benioff and Hugh and I, and Benioff told him the story and Hugh loved it. Hugh's on board. Hugh knows the whole samurai story. I gave him those comics, he read those, so in the future he's onboard with those also."

Christian Bale talks Batman Begins:
Christian Bale once again talks about his take on the Batman and also reveals more about the story:
"I've never felt like the Batman character in the films was given as much time as any of the villains. The villains were always the most interesting characters, too. Batman has always been this very bizarre, almost blind character running through the middle of the story. Our film is different.
Our Batman is centered on the early days. It's an explanation. It's certainly not Batman No. 5. It's a reinvention. We want you to forget there has ever been a Batman before this one."
The film is directed by Memento's Chris Nolan. The rest of the cast includes Ken Watanabe, Liam Neeson, Katie Holmes, Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman.

Jessica Biel talks Stealth:
Blade Trinity star Jessica Biel gives an update on her latest action flick Stealth:
"It's another action movie, but it's sci-fi and futuristic, which is a little bit different. I play a fighter pilot, and I'm not doing any hand-to-hand combat, but we're flying all the time. There's a lot of CG, so they built this half a plane and we did a lot of stuff in front of a green screen with lots of explosions and plane fights. It's kind of like a futuristic Top Gun with a drone plane that has its own brain that goes AWOL. It's the idea of man vs. machine and whether it's ethical and moral to send a machine in to do a man's job and not have any fatalities. What's interesting is that I think there's a plane like that being built right now, so it's not so unrealistic for our lives."
The rest of the cast includes Jamie Foxx and Josh Lucas. Rob Cohen (Dragon The Bruce Lee Story) directs the film, which will be released in the Summer of 2005.
