The Hitcher trailer:
De eerste beelden van The Hitcher remake zijn online verschenen. De gelikte nieuwe versie is geregisseerd door Dave Meyers, de cast bestaat uit Sophia Bush, Zachary Knighton, Kyle Davis, Neal McDonough en Sean Bean als The Hitcher.
Ik ben een grote liefhebber van de originele film waarin Rutger Hauer de gevaarlijke lifter speelde maar ik ben ook wel nieuwsgierig wat Sean Bean ons zal brengen. Anyway, oordeel zelf en klik op de pic om de trailer te downloaden. De volgende update is dit weekend, guys!

Baz Luhrmann's Australian epic!:
Regisseur Baz Luhrmann onthult eindelijk de titel van zijn avonturenfilm dat zich afspeelt in Australië.
"The name is shocking," vertelt Lurhmann met een lach, "It's called Australia. I'm taking the perspective of the rest of the world to this film how they might view Australia. When you say 'Casablanca' or 'Oklahoma!' it means big. It means vast... I'm not saying this film is Australia. It's a metaphor for a state of mind, for the faraway.
What people tend not to know is that more tonnage of bombs were dropped by the same attack force on Darwin as Pearl Harbor. They bombed Darwin 64 times. We were completely lied to in the south about it."
De hoofdrollen in Australia worden vertolkt door Nicole Kidman en Hugh Jackman.

Tarantino in Miike film?:
Japanse regisseur Takashi Miike (Ichi the Killer) is begonnen met het filmen van Japan's first western, Sukiyaki Western: Django!
De film is een eerbetoon aan de jaren 60 spaghetti western Django, waarin Franco Nero de hoofdrol speelde. De western wordt in het Engels opgenomen, de cast bestaat uit
Hideaki Ito, Koichi Sato, Kaori Momoi, Yusuke Iseya, Masanobu Ando and the one and only Quentin Tarantino!

Ik heb een exclusieve poster ontvangen van de horror thriller Black Christmas! De film is geregisseerd door Final Destination's James Wong.
Here's the official synopsis; "In Black Christmas a sorority house is terrorized by a killer who makes frightening telephone calls before murdering the sorority sisters during the Christmas break."

The Hobbit without Peter Jackson?:
The One Ring.net heeft een brief ontvangen van Peter Jackson en Fran Walsh over The Hobbit project.
New Line is van plan om een andere regisseur voor de film te zoeken. Een van de grote knelpunten is de Wingnut Films vs. New Line rechtzaak. Here's clip;
"Several years ago, Mark Ordesky told us that New Line have rights to make not just The Hobbit but a second "LOTR prequel", covering the events leading up to those depicted in LOTR. Since then, we've always assumed that we would be asked to make The Hobbit and possibly this second film, back to back, as we did the original movies. We assumed that our lawsuit with the studio would come to a natural conclusion and we would then be free to discuss our ideas with the studio, get excited and jump on board. We've assumed that we would possibly get started on development and design next year, whilst filming The Lovely Bones. We even had a meeting planned with MGM executives to talk through our schedule.
However last week, Mark Ordesky called Ken and told him that New Line would no longer be requiring our services on the Hobbit and the LOTR 'prequel'. This was a courtesy call to let us know that the studio was now actively looking to hire another filmmaker for both projects."

X-Men en Contstantine producer Lauren Shuler Donner sprak met IESB over Constantine 2!
"Keanu Reeves will be back," vertelde ze, "We have been working with a team of writers to come up with a story. We are really going to go for it this time. The area that we found is great, it's really scary, it's good. It will be set outside the US, but NOT in the UK."
Francis Lawrence, die de eerste film regisseerde, fungeert voor de sequel alleen als producer, er wordt gezocht naar een andere regisseur.

Rob Cohen, regisseur van de geweldige Dragon; The Bruce Lee Story, legt uit wat hij van plan is met de nieuwe Bruce Lee movie Rage and Fury. Check this out:
The big headline is that I am NOT using clips from the film; I am creating an entirely photo-realistic Bruce Lee with new, advanced digital technlogy. Digital Domain who did "XXX" and "Stealth" with me are on it big time. We are in the vfx development stage.
This will be the first digital actor and I am very excited about the challenge. We do have the rights to Bruce's films but the lines are all I am going to use. The Lee Family is also involved with me and Dreamworks.
I am doing this to further honor Bruce. It was one thing to make "Dragon" but this will be the Man himself, alive for those of us that didn't get enough and the new generations who should know what he was all about."

Veel nieuwe trailers om het weekend goed te beginnen, guys, check this out:
 Sienna Miller speelt de beroemde jaren 60 "it girl" Edie Sedgwick in Factory Girl. De rest van de cast besaat uit Guy Pearce en Hayden Christensen. Klik hier voor de trailer.
De eerste 10 seconden van de Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix trailer zijn online, dus alleen voor de Potter fans, klik hier voor een paar bewegende beeldjes.
De volgende trailer is een stuk beter, check out Ben Stiller, Dick Van Dyke en Robin Williams in Night at the Museum. De film zit vol geweldige special effects, klik hier voor een lekker voorproefje.
David Fincher is eindelijk terug met een nieuwe film. De thriller Zodiac is gebaseerd op ware gebeurtenissen en de rollen worden vertolkt door Jake Gyllenhaal, Mark Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr., Anthony Edwards en Brian Cox. As always, love Fincher's style, klik hier om de trailer te downloaden.
