Fahrenheit the sequel!:
I knew it, Michael Moore is planning to make a sequel to the biggest grossing documentary ever, Fahrenheit 9/11.
"We want to get cameras rolling now and have it ready in two-three years," says Moore, "We want to document and commercialize it. Fifty-one percent of the American people lacked information (in this election) and we want to educate and enlighten them. They weren't told the truth. We're communicators and it's up to us to start doing it now. The official mourning period is over today and there is a silver lining -- George W. Bush is prohibited by law from running again."

Set reports:
Two interesting set reports were sent in by scoopers:
Live from the set of Fantastic Four, Location - Vancouver: "I was just on the set on Fantastic Four here in Vancouver. I just wanted to get by what i saw happen today, which may (or may not be ) already be news to you. just to get this across, i wasn't one of the people across the street, and i wasn't an extra, i was IN the set. I was about 10 feet away from the stunt double in the thing outfit, that close. I was watching them film a part of the fight between Dr.Doom and Thing, when Doom takes a broken street lamp and swings it at THing when he's running at him full speed, hitting him then throwing Thing back 30 feet, then landing on the ground and causing a crater where he lands."
Live from the set of King Kong, Location - Wellington: "The Skull Island set is being built on land above Massey Memorial near Shelly Bay in Wellington and appears to be a bigger-scale version of the Skull Island set at Lyall Bay, where filming took place last month. A large ancient-looking wall dominates the set and could be the section through which Kong will break. In the original 1933 movie, Skull Island was a key location and included a big wall that separated the giant gorilla and dinosaurs from the rest of the island."

Newsflash:
The first pic of Revenge of the Sith's villain General Grievous appeared online over at StarWars.com.
The site posted more cool info about this character:
"A twisted melding of flesh and metal, General Grievous' body is a deadly weapon forged by the cutting edge developers of the Confederacy. Within the hardened carapace beats the heart of a remorseless killer. Grievous hunted Jedi for sport and proudly displayed his victims' lightsabers around his belt as trophies of his conquests."
Well, what do ya think? Looks pretty amazing don't you think? Hit the pic for more.

Bruckheimer talks Pirates!:
Uber-producer Jerry Bruckheimer talked about the development of the Pirates of the Caribbean sequels:
"We hope that we can do it as well as Lord of the Rings did it. That's what you shoot for. You only learn through making mistakes, so we'll watch what Back to the Future did and Matrix did and hopefully not repeat what they did. We have the same team that did the first one and hopefully we can have the same success. It's the same two writers who rewrote the first one and same director, same three actors initially and we're negotiating with the rest of them, so hopefully we'll get everybody back."

Colin Farrel talked about Michael Mann's Miami Vice film! Colin will join Jamie Foxx in the big screen version of the popular TV series. Farrell is not doing a Don Johnson impression; "No, God, I'll leave that to Don. Michael Mann wrote a great script. Wrote a great script. It's not tongue in cheek, it's not '80s. It'll be a different period, a different sensibility." Source: Latino Review
David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane will play themselves in the soccer trilogy Goal!. The film revolves around a soccer phenomenon from East L.A who ends up playing for Newcastle United. The first film will be released in August 2005, the second in June 2006 and the finale will be staged during the 2006 World Cup. Danny Cannon, director/producer of CSI, will direct Goal! New posters:
I'm a big poster fan and really hate it when they use some boring photo composition to sell a movie. Here are
two examples of good and bad poster art.
First the cool ones; two wonderful new posters for Robert Rodriguez' Sin City. Click on the pic for larger versions.
The bad; a weird looking poster for Dennis Quaid's In Good Company. Look at the style, compared to Sin City and look at the expression on Dennis' face! Click on the pic
for a larger version.

Superman update:
USA Today posted some more details about Bryan Singer's Superman movie:
Warner Bros. is revealing little about the plot, but Singer has hinted that the film will pick up where 1980's Superman II left off. In that movie, our hero traded his superpowers for mortality, fell in love with Lois Lane, regained his powers to defeat his enemies but then lost the girl.
"How do you bring Superman back? That has obviously been a challenge for us," says Jeff Robinov, president of production for Warner Bros.
"It took a while to get the right combination of people and to find a story that was fresh and true to the mythology."
