Flightplan Clip!!!:
MovieXplosion.com heeft in samenwerking met Buena Vista International de eerste 7 minuten van de Jodie Foster thriller Flightplan!
Op 15 kilometer hoogte beleeft Kyle Pratt de nachtmerrie van iedere moeder, haar 6 jaar oude dochter Julia verdwijnt spoorloos tijdens de vlucht van Berlijn naar New York. Als Kyle de bemanning vraagt haar te helpen zoeken, twijfelt de bemanning aan haar verhaal, ze weten dat Kyle emotioneel aan de grond zit door het plotselingen overlijden van haar echtgenoot. En niemand wil ook aan de weduwe twijfelen, maar er is geen enkel bewijs dat Julia ooit aan boord is geweest. Kyle voelt zich vreselijk in de steek gelaten en kan alleen nog op haar eigen verstand vertrouwen om het mysterie op te lossen en haar dochter te redden.

Nicolas Cage talks 9/11 Project:
Oliver Stone begint binnenkort met het filmen van zijn 9/11 film. De film volgt het verhaal van Port Authority Sergeant John McLoughlin, de rol wordt vertolkt door Nicolas Cage.
"Well, I'm just now finishing The Wicker Man, I'm almost done with that," vertelde Cage, "I'm going to come back here and then I'm going to go to New York. I've met with John McLoughlin. I've spent some time with him and talked through some things. I spent some down at the Port Authority and met all the other surviving members of the tragedy that were there. I'll sort of also talk through it with Oliver. I get the feeling from Oliver that the work they've done on the screenplay that that they want to make it pretty cinema-veritae so it'll feel like real time, unfolding. There's maybe a lot of technical jargon that you won't understand, but it's going to smack of reality, and they're going to try and make it as real as they can. I'm happy to say that Oliver and I have been trying to work together for many years. It hasn't happened, but I'm happy to say that with this one, because it's so positive about the human condition - the buildings themselves really, it's not about them. It's really more about this sample of men when the buildings came down where they went to survive and how they coped."

Rocky 6 is coming!!!:
Yo Rockoooooo!!! Yeah, he's back! Sly Stallone begint in december aan Rocky 6!
De bokser besluit om deel te nemen aan een paar lokale low-profile fights om te kunnen overleven maar dan wordt hij plotseling gevraagd om het tegen de heavyweight champ op te nemen.
Awesome, can't wait to see this.

The Warriors remake:
Cool, Tony Scott gaat een remake maken van Walter Hill's streetgang-classic The Warriors.
"I see it as Kingdom Of Heaven meets The Warriors because with these gangs, instead of having twenty or thirty guys, I'm going to have three thousand, five thousand guys in the LA river beds and it's going to look like LA during the riots. I love the original movie, that's why I'm in doing this but I'm not going to copy the original."
Helaas moeten we nog even wachten want Tony heeft de film pas ergens in 2006 op planning staan.

Nolan talks Batman sequel:
Christopher Nolan sprak over een tweede Batman film, check this out:
"Actually, I have been talking to the studio and to David Goyer about directions for a sequel because we're certainly very excited still about the world we were able to dive into and the characters we were able to put on screen. It's a pretty interesting bunch of people and an interesting place, so we're definitely talking about places we would take it.
With franchise properties, with the idea of sequels, as I see it, the only reason to do a sequel is to do something better than the film you've made before. That's the reason you have to be doing it, with that kind of intention. That's the only way in which I would enter into the process."
Het is overigens nog niet officieel bekend gemaakt dat Chris het vervolg ook gaat regisseren.

fantasy comedy The Brothers Grimm en Jason Statham hakt erop los in de over-the-top actiefilm Transporter 2.

Casting update:
 Gwyneth Paltrow, Martin Freeman en Simon Pegg zijn te zien in de romantische komedie The Good Night. Het verhaal is geschreven door Gwyneth's bro Jake Paltrow en hij gaat ook de film regisseren.
Marcia Gay Harden vergezelt Justin Chatwin, Margarita Levieva en Chris Marquette in de bovennatuurlijke thriller Invisible. De film over een geest dat op zoek is naar zijn lichaam, wordt geregisseerd door David S. Goyer.
Alicia Witt, Leelee Sobieski en Neal McDonough spelen naast Al Pacino in de crime flick 88 Minutes. Pacino speelt een college professor met een bijbaantje als FBI psycholoog.

Wallace & Gromit veroverden de Amerikaanse Box Office dat gebombardeerd werd door vele andere nieuwkomers. Helaas daalde hierdoor mijn favoriete film A History of Violence een paar plaatsen.

The Rock talks Doom!:
Oh yeah, The Rock sprak weer over Doom! De voormalige pro-wrestler wilde de videogame-film absoluut R-Rated (16 jaar en ouder) maken:
"I was wanting to do a rated-R movie that was unapologetic, and that's what you find with Doom, unlike the other video-game adaptations. We're not trying to be PG-13, and we're not making any apologies for what we are, which was what the original Doom did.
What really sealed the deal for me was when I finally talked to Andre Bartkowiak, the director. I said, 'We have this liberty that we can scare people.' I said, 'What're your feelings on that?' You know, I wanted to scare the s--t out of people. And he said, 'Well, we're not going to scare the s--t out of people.' There's this long pause. I'm thinking, 'Oh God. I just signed a contract.' I said, 'What do you mean?' He said, 'We're going to f--king terrify them.' I was like, 'Oh great.' To hear that passion, that was great too."
