Surviving Christmas trailer:
De zomer is voorbij en de kerstfilms worden je weer om de oren geslagen! De trailer van de komedie Surviving Christmas is hier te zien.
De hoofdrollen worden vertolkt door Ben Affleck, Christina Applegate, Catherine O'Hara en Tony Soprano himself James Gandolfini.
Reden genoeg om de trailer dus even te downloaden, trust me, it's pretty funny.

Christian Bale talks Batman!!!:
Christian Bale sprak met Scifi Wire over zijn rol
van de The Caped Crusader in Batman Begins:
"I just saw it as a way of him being able to channel the clarity of mind that he must have had as a young boy when he first declared that he would get revenge. It's very difficult to maintain that throughout your life. It becomes a memory, and you know it takes a great deal of energy to maintain that sharpness of emotion. So I just felt that everything about him should become different [when he becomes Batman]. The look. The voice. And also see that he's able to have his own life, somewhat [when he's Wayne]. Because it seemed to me that if he was just going to be Bruce Wayne in a batsuit, first of all, that seemed a little bit ridiculous to me. It would have been as ridiculous as any of us getting into a batsuit and genuinely thinking we could go out on the town and intimidate people. I think most people would probably laugh, you know? So you have to kind of really go for it in every way. And for me that kind of, you know, involved taking on a slightly beastlike voice, as I hear it.
I felt like a panther the first day, you know? I did feel like some kind of wild animal. I don't know if anybody else was looking at me like that way [laughs]. I don't know if I appeared quite as ferocious as I felt that I did. But I really felt like everybody was kind of looking at me [mimes backing away in fear], you know, jumpy. And ... it makes you feel, you know, like that, you want to kind of run and jump at people and beat the crap out of them. And ... you know, it just gives you this great neck and this physique that just looks intimidating. It's all kind of aggressive. It's all pointing forward. It's very much like a predator. And that was a thrill, doing that."
Batman Begins wordt geregisseerd door Chris Nolan en verder zien we ook Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Liam Neeson en Gary Oldman. De film komt volgend jaar zomer uit.

Batman Begins composers!:
Componisten Hans Zimmer en James Newton Howard gaan samen de filmscore voor Batman Begins verzorgen!
Hans Zimmer heeft o.a. ook de score geschreven voor Gladiator, The Lion King en Black Rain. James Newton Howard
is o.a. verantwoordelijk voor de filmmuziek van Signs, Unbreakable en Hidalgo.

Newsflash:
 Fox gaat een Alvin and the Chipmunks film produceren. Het is nog niet bekend wie in de live-action/computer-generated film gaat spelen.
De trailer van Seed of Chucky is op het web verschenen en I like it, it's pretty funny! Klik hier om Chucky in actie te zien.
Pixar heeft een nieuwe poster van The Incredibles uitgebracht! Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Samuel L. Jackson, en Jason Lee verzorgen de stemmen in de nieuwe film van de makers van Finding Nemo. Klik op de poster voor een grote versie.

Mike O'Hearn still in the hunt for Superman!:
Kreeg net een mailtje van acteur, martial artist, bodybuilder Mike O'Hearn die even liet weten dat hij nog steeds in de
running is om gecast te worden als the man of steel in de nieuwe Superman film!!!:
"Just got a call from my manager Daniel Paul. He talked to Warner Bros., and yes, I am still in the hunt for Superman/Clark Kent in the new Warner Bros. movie "Unbelievable" -- budget of 200 million. Filming does not start until March 2005.
My manager however did pass on all the comments that the Superhero websites fans are posting. Warner Bros' recommendation was for all the fans to write to Warner Bros' website and their message board that Michael O'Hearn should play Superman. Production for Superman is extremely busy, but they do listen to what the fans have to say. I want to thank all the fans that have been writing and supporting me on the websites. As soon as I'm finished with my next reading for Superman/Clark Kent--I'll give you an update.
In the meantime, I'm getting ready to compete in the Mr. Universe, then it looks like I'll be taking off with Superstart Director, Sandy Collora to film Sandy's next project."
That's great, Mike, hope you'll get the part!

Newsflash:
Sony Corp. heeft Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. voor $3 miljard overgenomen. Sony bezit naast de duizenden titels van klassiekers ook de rechten van de James Bond, Pink Panther en Rocky franchise.
Fox maakt plannen voor een remake van Revenge of the Nerds. Regisseur McG (Charlie's Angels) zal de college comedy over "nerds versus de populaire football spelers" produceren. Source: Variety
Low quality maar interessante poster van Jim Carrey's nieuwe komedie Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events is hier te vinden.

Conran talks A Princess of Mars:
Sky Captain's regisseur Kerry Conran sprak over zijn volgende project, de sci-fi flick A Princess of Mars:
"We're moving full steam ahead on that. We don't have a script yet, it's early on obviously, but it's starting. Hopefully in the next couple months we'll start to move. I think we'll have a little more resources available this time out, sort of how Peter Jackson made Lord of the Rings, which used all the available technology, such as miniatures and all that to achieve that. I think there are certain types of images and effects that the computer isn't suited for, and you want to use whatever the best approach is for whatever the thing you're trying to create. So I wouldn't say that we would want to do it remotely like we did World of Tomorrow, but absolutely we would use some of the techniques."
Kerry Conran vertelde ook meer over een ander project dat wordt uitgewerkt:
"Princess of Mars was something that I never could have imagined even agreeing to do, or wanting to do in that regard because I really only wanted to do my own stuff. I've also started working on what intended to be the next project with a friend of mine, that I went to school with, Bob Gordon, who wrote Galaxy Quest, one of the Men in Black movies, and Lemony Snicket, and so we have our little opus that we wanted to start working on. We're trying to do something that's very different, but very ambitious at the same time."

Zombies hebben de Box Office overgenomen, het vervolg op Resident Evil is op de eerste plaats
binnengekomen met $23 miljoen! Kim Basinger's thriller Cellular heeft het iets minder gedaan en
bereikte een tweede plaats.

gebaseerd op de zwart/wit comics van Frank Miller en Robert Rodriguez slaagt erin om de stijl van de comics
over te brengen op film. De all-star cast bestaat uit: Bruce Willis, Michael Douglas, Christopher Walken, Steve Buscemi, Benicio del Toro, Elijah Wood, Josh Hartnett, Brittany Murphy, Jessica Alba, Kate Bosworth, Nick Stahl, Clive Owen en Michael Clarke Duncan.

George Lucas talks Star Wars sequels:
George Lucas zorgt voor opheldering, er zullen geen Star Wars Episodes 7,8 en 9 gemaakt worden:
"The original 'Star Wars' was only three films, and that was what it was meant to be. After a lot of pondering and thought, I went back to do the back story, but that pretty much tells the story. Episode six is the end. There isn't any more to it."
Hij onthulde ook een aantal dingen over Revenge of the Sith:
"It's pretty dark. It's pretty intense. I'm not sure this one is going to end up a PG like the others were. That apparently doesn't have so much to do with actual violence - like previous "Star Wars" films, this one will have lots of battles and space action."
Episode III R-Rated? Dat zou mooi zijn maar ik denk dat het gewoon een film voor 12 jaar en ouder gaat worden.
Dan ook nog even dit, George Lucas is van plan om binnen een jaar te beginnen aan de lang verwachte Indiana Jones film.

Yeeehahhh, Johnny Knoxville en Seann William Scott zijn gecast om Luke and Bo Duke te spelen in The Dukes of Hazard film. Zangeres Jessica Simpson wordt benaderd voor de rol van Daisy Duke, Burt Reynolds is misschien te zien als Boss Hogg. Jay Chandrasekhar (Club Dread, Super Troopers) regisseert de komedie. Micheal Keaton is terug in deze fantastische trailer van White Noise. De bovennatuurlijke thriller gaat over bandopnamen van stemmen uit de andere zijde. De rest van de cast bestaat uit Deborah Kara Unger en Chandra West.
Black Film ontving de nieuwe poster van de romantische komedie Shall We Dance met in de hoofdrollen Richard Gere, Jennifer Lopez en Susan Sarandon. Klik op de dancing queen voor een grote versie.
