Exclusive DOA stills!:
It feels a bit weird to post this, cuz people could get the wrong idea about the content of this site... but, man, I do love a good ol' bikini with an American flag print. Check out Jaime Pressly (who I love in My name is Earl) in the martial arts flick D.O.A.: Dead or Alive. The film is directed by the legendary Corey Yuen, so that's one more reason to check out this baby. D.O.A.: Dead or Alive will open in October. Click on the pic to enter the gallery... and enjoy!

I love you Jaime Pressly!

Newsflash:
I've got a very weird but very cool rumor today, according to Beijing's Star Daily, Peter Jackson is mentioned to direct the untitled Jackie Chan/Jet Li film. The paper also reports that Jet Li has been offered $9 million to play the main villain. Well, Peter Jackson making a martial arts vehicle, that's just too good to be true.
Morgan Creek has hired Jeff Sank and brothers Jason and Justin Heimberg to write a third Ace Ventura film. The story will center on the pet detective's son, so that means the film will be sans Jim Carrey, hmmm... alrighty then, take care now, bye bye.

Abrams talks Star Trek:
Interesting news for the trekkies, Lost creator and M:I:III director J.J. Abrams talks about the new Star Trek flick. Abrams will produce and may direct the film. Early reports say that the story will focus on Kirk and Spock's early days, but Abrams doesn't confirm it;
"I think we have an incredible story, but we've sort of promised each other we wouldn't talk about the specifics yet. But I can say that we're actively working on it, we're in the middle of breaking the story, and it's coming along great. I'd be happy to start sooner than Paramount thinks, but not a moment before it's ready. We have an incredible beginning of a really dramatic story, and it very much honors the canon of Star Trek. On the other hand, it won't be like anything you've seen before."

Del Toro talks Hellboy II:
Director Guillermo del Toro talked about the upcoming Hellboy sequel! He explained why the second film will be better and also revealed who will be back... and who won't:
"Well, I think that one of the drags for me on the first movie was having to introduce the characters. I believe that you can deal more with character situations and have more fun with those things on a second movie, more so than you can on a first one. So that freedom and the banter among the characters, I think, is better. And the world is completely different. The first one was dealing with a much more urban environment and the second one is more in a mythical type of environment, more magical. So hopefully it's closer to some of the aspects of the comic book that we couldn't portray in the first one.
We definitely have all the regulars - Hellboy, Abe Sapien and Liz Sherman are back. But not coming back is John Myers. Kroenen is back in a very small sort of cameo appearance.
We won't start shooting until late April or early May at the worst, but we have a long prep ahead of us. we're going to shoot this one in Budapest, in Hungary and we're going to shoot a little bit in London and we're going to do pre-production and post-production in London."
