Newsflash:
Hi guys, wederom een traag nieuwsweekje maar gelukkig heb ik een paar mooie posters om de week goed af te sluiten. Volgende
update is in het weekend:
 De eerste Doom trailer is online verschenen, and it sure looks sweet! Geweldig sfeertje en indrukwekkende sets. De film is gebaseerd op de gelijknamige populaire shoot-em-up videogame, de hoofdrollen worden vertolkt door Karl Urban en The Rock! Klik hier om de trailer te downloaden.
Een aantal setfoto's van Steven Spielberg's historische thriller Munich hebben internet bereikt. De filmlocatie is op Malta dat als Griekenland moet fungeren, check out de pics hier.
Twee geweldige nieuwe posters van de sci-fi flick Aeon Flux zijn online. Charlize Theron speelt de hoofdrol in de film dat gebaseerd is op de MTV animatie serie uit de jaren 80. Klik op de posters voor grote versies.

Newsflash:
Jodie Foster gaat de Sugar Kings regisseren waarin ze waarschijnlijk ook de hoofdrol speelt. De film vertelt het verhaal van een jonge advocaat die machtige suiker fabrikanten voor de rechtbank sleept. Source: Variety
Regisseur Chuck Russell's nieuwe film wordt Point Thunder. De thriller gaat over een buitenaardse kracht die een nieuwe gevaarlijke duikboot overneemt. Russell trakteerde ons eerder op de brainless-but-fun The Mask, Eraser en The Scorpion King. Source: Variety
Steven Spielberg's 'untitled historical thriller' over het bloedbad tijdens de Olympische Spelen in München heeft nu een titel... en dat is Munich!
Een nieuwe trailer van het vervolg op Jumanji genaamd Zathura, is nu online! Check it out, looks pretty cool ondanks de kwaliteit van de trailer.
De eerste foto's van Kevin Spacey als Lex Luthor in Superman Returns zijn door spycams gemaakt! Kevin Spacey ziet er gevaarlijk uit, klik voor meer, inclusief pics van Parker Posey als Kitty Koslowski.

Reggy's Sky High Review!:
Marvel Superheroes nemen de Box Office over, Disney joins the club met hun superheldenfilm Sky High. De cast
bestaat uit Kurt Russell, Bruce Campbell, Kelly Preston en Lynda Carter. De film draait deze week aan de overkant van de oceaan,
wij moeten helaas nog een paar weken wachten. Voor de Amerikaanse bezoekers is dan ook de Engelstalige recensie te lezen, de Nederlandse

U.S. Box Office July 22-24:
De top drie van de Amerikaanse Box Office is hetzelfde gebleven, Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
staat voor een tweede week op de eerste plaats terwijl nieuwkomer The Island, geregisseerd door action-meister Michael Bay, niet
verder kwam dan de vierde plaats! Een teleurstellende opening waar de regisseur en studio absoluut niet blij mee zullen zijn. Here's the rest of the Top Ten:

pic voor een grote versie. Hieronder volgt "the official synopsis" van de film:

Newsflash:
Matt Dillon speelt naast Owen Wilson en Kate Hudson in You, Me and Dupree. Hudson en Dillon spelen de newlyweds, Wilson is de getuige die logeert bij het bruidspaar en voorlopig niet van plan is om hun huis te verlaten.
Christina Ricci speelt de hoofdrol in de komedie Penelope. De film vertelt het verhaal van een vrouw die door een vloek geen geluk heeft in haar leven.
Mel Gibson gaat de actie film Apocalypto regisseren. De productie gaat in oktober in Mexico beginnen met een release date in de zomer van 2006. Mel Gibson is niet van plan om een rol te spelen in de film.

Rumor Has It: Rob Reiner is terug met een nieuwe romantische komedie, cast bestaat uit Jennifer Aniston, Mark Ruffalo, Shirley MacLaine en Kevin Costner.
Get Rich or Die Tryin': 50 Cent's goes 8 mile, geregisseerd door Jim Sheridan.
Walk the Line: bio flick, Joaquin Phoenix speelt de legendarische muzikant Johnny Cash, love the trailer!

Darren Aronofsky talks The Fountain:
Regisseur Darren Aronofsky sprak over zijn sci-fi/romantic epic The Fountain. De cast bestaat uit Hugh Jackman en Rachel Weisz. De film speelt zich af in 1500, 2000 en 2500.
Aronofsky legt uit hoe hij de verschillende perioden visueel met elkaar heeft verbonden:
"They're all deeply, deeply connected. In fact there's all these little hidden things that connect them all that hopefully people will start to connect from the three different time periods. Like the tree motif. There's also framings that are similar, and there's sort of blocking of how the characters move through the space is similar, and there's also certain shapes that are connecting. There's a lot of things that hopefully will add to the visual connection of the different time periods.
Ultimately the film's just about a man who is searching for the fountain of youth for himself and his wife. That's really what it's about. At the core it's a love story. It's just told with a lot of cool, fun stuff for all of us science-fiction fans."
