Che to the big screen:
Director Terence Malick (Badlands) is going to helm Che, an epic about Cuban revolutionary Che Guevara. Benicio Del Toro is playing the lead. The movie is probably going to be produced by Steven Soderbergh who initially would direct the project.

Reggy's Back!:
Woohoo, the Regster is back with a new and hopefully improved movieXplosion.com website!
I just got back from a trip to the USA. It's becoming kind of a tradition to see some summer blockbusters in the US with my big bro. We've wandered around the Big Apple for four days, saw T3, The Hulk and LXG, hopped on a domestic flight to Washington D.C. to see some more.
I'm still fighting off a jetlag but got just enough energy to launch the new movieXplosion.com site. I will try to write some reviews later this week. Thanks for visiting my site, guys and feel free to e-mail the Regster: reggy@moviexplosion.com

IMDB posted a synopsis of Jurassic Park IV and it sounds great to me:
"65 million years ago, a terrible disease plauged the Earth which brought about the extinction of the dinosaurs. In the early eighties, when InGen cloned the dinosaurs, they also brought this disease back with them and it has been present ever since before Jurassic Park (thus explaining the sick Triceratops and Brachiosaur). Now this disease has become fully active in the dinosaurs and they're all getting very ill. When dinosaur carcasses start washing up on the shore of Costa Rica, a team (including Alan Grant) is called out to find out what's going on. They head to the islands to study the dinosaurs and find out about the disease, known as DX. They also discover the disease is transferable to humans and could possibly bring on our own extinction."
No director or actors are attached, I'll keep you posted on this one.

Kill Bill part I and II? **UPDATED**:
Seems that the new Tarantino flick Kill Bill has got a stunning long runtime of 200 minutes. I don't mind but Quentin (or the studio) does and he will probably split up the movie in Kill Bill Volume 1 and Kill Bill Volume 2.
Guess it'll also end with a cliffhanger like Matrix Reloaded...

Updated 16/07/03: It's official, guys, the movie will be split in two according to the NY Times. Miramax producer Harvey Weinstein said in an interview: "the first installment would be in theaters on Oct. 10. The second release date is still being negotiated, but it could be two to six months later."

Sigourney Weaver in The Woods:
Sigourney "Ripley" Weaver will join M. Night Shyamalan's The Woods. Weaver will play the role of Alice, the mother of Joaquin Phoenix's character. Set in 1897, "Woods" revolves around a close-knit community that lives with the frightening knowledge that a mythical race of creatures resides in the woods around them.

Ergo, Matrix Reloaded DVD details!:
The Matrix Reloaded 2 discs special edition DVD will be released three weeks before Revolutions opens in theatres!
