Blade Trinity website online and Catwoman trailer!!!:
The official Blade Trinity site is nu online en bevat mooie desktops en een Quicktime versie van de trailer! Klik hier om naar de site te gaan.
De nieuwste uitgebreide trailer van Catwoman is nu online. De cast bestaat uit Halle Berry, Benjamin Bratt en Sharon Stone als the bad guy... ehh.. girl. Klik hier om de trailer te downloaden en
ik moet toegeven dat ondanks het foute Catwoman-pakje de trailer erg gaaf is!

Batman Begins and National Treasure pics:
Duitse site Mysan heeft mooie hoge resolutie pics van Batman Begins! De film wordt op dit moment geregisseerd door Chris "Memento" Nolan en Christian Bale speelt de hoofdrol. Klik op Bruce Wayne om meer te zien.
Dark Horizons heeft nieuwe foto's van Nicolas Cage's avonturenfilm National Treasure. De cast bestaat uit Sean Bean, Jon Voight, Harvey Keitel en Diane Kruger. Jon Turtletaub (Phenomenon) heeft de film geregisseerd. Klik op de pic voor meer.

First Elektra pic!!!:
USA Today heeft als eerste een mooie foto van Jennifer Garner in Elektra en zo te zien draagt ze eindelijk haar karakteristieke rode leren outfit! De film begint waar haar rol in Daredevil eindigt. "I wasn't killed, just really, really hurt," vertelt Jennifer Garner. "The movie picks up with my recovery."

Jack Black talks King Kong and Tenacious D film:
School of Rock star Jack Black sprak met MTV
over King Kong, Peter Jackson en een Tenacious D film!
"There are some funny things about my character but, yeah, it is a different thing for me," Black
revealed backstage at the 2004 MTV Movie Awards. "But I'm not approaching it differently. I'm approaching it with the same balls-to-the-wall attitude."
And there'll be a similar attitude throughout Peter Jackson's "Kong" remake, which Black promised will feature a much fiercer giant gorilla than some of the kinder, gentler versions.
"I just read the script for the first time. It's so rad. And it's top secret. I can't tell you much, but I can tell you this," he teased. "King Kong is going to be scary as hell, dude. He's not gonna be sweet and cuddly. It's not gonna be the cute kind [of movie]. He's a f---ing carnivore, as in, eats flesh!"
Black first encountered Jackson as something of a fanboy himself.
"It was weird because I kind of look like him now, with the beard and the 'baby,' " he said, patting his stomach. "We are kind of the same guy. But it was good to meet him. I was nervous. I'm a huge fan of his and I really wanted to be in 'King Kong.' I hadn't even read it yet, you know? I just met him and said, 'Uh, yeah, I heard you're doing 'King Kong.' So, uh, what do you think, man?' And he was like, 'I'm thinking about you for the role.' And I was like, 'Oh, all right!' "
Black is such a fan that he's likening one of his other projects - the long-discussed movie about his band Tenacious D, which is written and now has an April 1, 2005, start date - to the New Zealand filmmaker's famous trilogy. "It's like the 'Lord of the Rings' of rock. I swear to God it's going to be the best movie ever made. And there are lots of special effects, car chases and stuff - for real."

Blade Trinity trailer!!!:
Een nieuwe trailer van de derde Daywalker film, Blade: Trinity is nu online! Hier is een officieel bericht van New Line:
"Wesley Snipes returns as the day-walking vampire hunter in the explosive third and final film in the Blade franchise, BLADE: TRINITY. For years, Blade has fought against the vampires in the cover of night, with the world above unaware of the brutal ongoing war. But now, after falling into the crosshairs of the FBI, he is forced out into the daylight, where he is driven to join forces with a clan of human vampire hunters he never knew existed - The Nightstalkers. Together with Abigail (Jessica Biel, THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE) and Hannibal (Ryan Reynolds), two deftly trained Nightstalkers, Blade follows a trail of blood to the an ancient creature that is also hunting him ... the original vampire, Dracula. Newsflash:
 Dark Horizons heeft een paar nieuwe foto's geplaatst van Resident Evil: Apocalypse. Klik op de pic voor meer.
Dit is echt cool, Tarantino krijgt $1 voor het regisseren van een scène in Sin City. Robert Rodriguez en Frank Miller regisseren de rest van de comicbook verfilming. Tarantino is verantwoordelijk voor de laatste scène van de film waar Clive Owen, Benicio Del Toro en Brittany Murphy in spelen. Rodriguez heeft overigens ook voor $1 gewerkt toen hij voor Tarantino de filmscore van Kill Bill Vol. 2 componeerde! Source: Variety
Renny Harlin gaat de film The Northman maken. "It has been my dream for 15 years to make a movie about Vikings," vertelde Harlin, "Being Scandinavian, I have grown up with that folklore and think that this project offers a unique opportunity to tell a compelling story without sacrificing the aspects of beauty and complexity that were so inherent to the ancient Viking society." Bruckheimer talks Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and 3:
Producer Jerry Bruckheimer sprak over de Pirates of the Caribbean sequels!
"We made a deal with Gore [Verbinski] to do 2 and 3. We made a deal with [Ted] Elliot and [Terry] Rossio who rewrote the first film. They did an outline for 2 and 3. They're writing number 2 right now and we're negotiating with all the actors.
Johnny [Depp]'s really excited about doing it. You can ask Keira [Knightley]. I think she's excited about doing it and we'd love to have Orlando [Bloom] back. He's told Gore he wants to do it. So it comes down to if you can financially afford them because they've all become bigger stars than they were when we first started three years ago.
The story will continue through the two sequels. It will be continuing, but you'll definitely have an end at the end of two. The story will pick up again in three."

Avi Arad talks Hulk and Thor movies!:
Avi Arad gaf wederom een update over toekomstige Marvel projecten. We beginnen met de Hulk:
Q: Let's talk about coming Marvel movies. In the "Hulk" sequel, will the green guy at least say "Hulk smash!" this time?
A: Of course. I think at the end of the first movie you see this commitment: "You wouldn't like me when I'm angry."
And he's coming to terms with who he is. "I've got this curse and I'm going to use it when I need to protect innocent people." And I think in [the sequel] you'll see a man who understands his problem, is trying to solve it, coming to terms with the Bruce side of it, still trying to reject the Hulk, finding a way to reject it, and there are consequences to that, of course. And who knows? Green turns to gray and all hell breaks out.
Q: "Thor"?
A: We've literally just started these discussions. If you're a "Thor" follower you'll really love the movie, because we've found a really fine balance between Earth and Asgard. It's so big you have to look at it as a "Lord of the Rings" kind of thing."

Heb weer een paar mooie trailers om de week goed te beginnen… en Nederland heeft de halve finale bereikt, yeah!!!
Sorry… door met de trailers. Disney's Chicken Little is nu online en deze kan je hier bewonderen.
Joel Schumacher's musical The Panthom of the Opera met in de hoofdrol Gerald Butler is hier te zien en
tenslotte heb ik ook nog de trailer van de avonturenfilm National Treasure met Nicolas Cage. Klik op de poster om hem te downloaden.

U.S. Box Office June 25-27:
Wow, ik heb het vorige week al voorspeld, Michael Moore's documentaire Farenheit 9/11 is op de eerste plaats in de Amerikaanse Box Office binnengekomen en bracht $21 miljoen op! White Chicks, de komedie van de Wayans brothers, kwam op een tweede plaats binnen en doet het ook prima met $19 miljoen.
Spider-man 2 zal deze week in de US in première gaan, dat die op nummer één binnenkomt staat vast maar of die meer zal opbrengen dan zijn voorganger? Ik denk het wel, dit wordt een klapper! Helaas moeten wij nog twee weken wachten totdat die in de Nederlandse bioscopen draait.

Newsflash:
We beginnen met het belangrijkste nieuws van deze week; regisseur McG heeft de Superman film verlaten!!! All bets are off, back to the drawingboard and start from scratch! Ik denk dat dit goed nieuws is want McG was niet de juiste man voor de film. Nu maar hopen dat James Cameron of Michael Bay wordt gevraagd! Source: Superman V
Een nieuwe geweldige art deco trailer van Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow is nu online. De cast bestaat uit Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow en Angelina Jolie. Sky Captain draait in het najaar in de bioscopen.
Screenwriter Ben Ramsey gaat het filmscript schrijven van de manga-tekenfilmserie Dragonball Z. Mijn neefje zal dit goed nieuws vinden. Source: Variety

Gough & Miller talk Spider-man 2... and Iron Man!!!:
Smallville writer-creators Al Gough en Miles Millar spraken met About.com
over hun Spider-man 2 script en ze onthulden iets over Iron Man! Here's a clip:
How'd you get hooked up with "Spider-Man 2"?
AL GOUGH: We actually were not part of the first "Spider-Man." They called us when they decided to do the second.
We created "Smallville" and I think they really liked what we were doing on that show and we felt there was a relevance from what we're doing on the show to what they're doing in the movie, which is really focusing on the love story. And that's how Sam [Raimi] sees these movies, they are really a love story between MJ and Peter. So I think sensibility-wise, we sort of had the same vibe. We got together with Sam and Laura Ziskin and Avi Arad, working out the story for "Spider-Man 2," even before the first.
What's up with "Spider-Man 3?" Are you involved in that script?
AL GOUGH: No, "Spider-Man 3" we're not involved in.
MILES MILLAR: We're sort of superhero-ed out.
AL GOUGH: Yeah, we're superhero-ed out at this point. After "Spider-Man 2," we did "Iron Man" for New Line. And then we're in season 4 of "Smallville," so we're done with the superheroes for the time being.
Wait a minute. "Iron Man?" You two wrote that script, what can we expect from that?
MILES MILLAR: A really cool reinvention of the [story]. It's a very [interesting] character to sort of contemporize but I think we've all found a way to do it. It's a very cool action adventure movie.
AL GOUGH: It's actually very relevant given today's times, which is interesting too. I mean, I think that's the neat thing about comic book heroes. It's finding their relevance in today's world, which is something that we try to do with "Smallville" and obviously "Spider-Man" taps into that. We hope "Iron Man" will, as well.
