Newsflash:
Hi guys, nog even een snelle nieuwsflits, de volgende update is weer dit weekend!
 Superman Returns opende woensdag ijzersterk met $21 miljoen. Dat betekent dat de film op de achtste plaats staat van beste opening op een woensdag!
Jack Nicholson en Morgan Freeman vertolken de hoofdrol in The Bucket List, dat geregisseerd gaat worden door Rob Reiner. De titel van de film slaat op een wishlist die twee mannen met een terminale ziekte proberen te vervullen. Source: Variety

Spider-man 3 and Lady in the Water trailer:
Spider-man 3 is in full production en de teasertrailer is nu al online! Naast Tobey Maguire en Kirsten Dunst, zien we ook Thomas Haden Church, Topher Grace, Bryce Dallas Howard, Theresa Russell en James Cromwell in de nieuwe Spidey flick. Check out de mooie teaser via deze link!

New Snakes on a Plane teaser:
De actiefilm Snakes on a Plane moet nog uitkomen maar door de coole titel en veel aandacht van websites is de film enorm populair!
Snakes on a Plane wordt geregisseerd door David Richard Ellis, de cast bestaat uit Samuel L. Jackson and Julianna Margulies. Here's the official synopsis:
FBI agent Nelville Flynn (Samuel L. Jackson) is escorting an eye witness on a flight from Hawaii to Los Angeles when a crimelord sets in motion the release of hundreds of deadly snakes aboard the airplane in order to eliminate the witness before he can testify against him.

Will J.K. Rowling kill Harry Potter?:
Interessant nieuws voor de Harry Potter fans, auteur J.K. Rowling vertelde dat twee personages het zevende en laatste boek niet overleven.
"The final chapter is hidden away," verklaarde Rowling, "Although it's now changed very slightly. One character got a reprieve. But I have to say two die that I didn't intend to die, a price has to be paid. We are dealing with pure evil here. They don't target extras do they? They go for the main characters. Well, I do.
I'm gonna kill them off because that means there can be no non-author written sequels. So it will end with me, and after I'm dead and gone they won't be able to bring back the character."
Wow, die vrouw lijkt wel een keiharde huurmoordenaar.

U.S. Box Office June 23-25:
Adam Sandler heeft een nieuwe blockbuster op zijn naam staan! Zijn komedie Click kwam met 40 miljoen dollars binnen op de eerste plaats van de Amerikaanse Box Office.
Maar.... deze week is het tijd voor de terugkeer van Superman!!! Waarschijnlijk gaat de film veel records breken, we'll just have to wait and see, here's the rest of the Top Ten:

Tarantino and Rodriguez talk Grind House!!!:
Quentin Tarantino en Robert Rodriguez, allebei fans van old school horror en cult flicks, maken nu
hun eigen slasher flick met de titel Grind House. Ze regisseren beide een film van 1 uur dat aan elkaar wordt gekoppeld door een aantal nep-trailers.
De directors spraken met EW over Grind House, Rodriguez vertelde het volgende:
Where did the idea for Grind House come from?
I used to go to Quentin's house and he'd show me these movies in his home theater. He'd always program the night with some really great trailers from the era and then a feature, then a few more trailers, and then another feature. And I was like, ''Man, we have to re-create these nights for the rest of the world!'' And right then, he was like, ''We have to call it Grind House!''
Why do you love the exploitation movies of the '70s so much?
A lot of these movies, when Quentin would show them, the prints would be in disrepair. So sometimes you'd miss key lines of dialogue, or you could tell whole scenes were cut out because the film broke there.
We tried to use that stuff to our favor. In my film, we have a missing reel. A sign comes up in the second-half that says ''Missing Reel.'' It's like you went on a 20-minute bathroom break and you come back and all hell's broken loose.
Hehe, 'the missing-reel idea' is fantastisch! Tarantino's film wordt een slasher flick over een man die zijn auto als wapen gebruikt om vrouwen te vermoorden. Rodriguez maakt een lekkere zombie movie. Grind House verschijnt in 2007 in de bioscoop, klik op bovenstaande
