T3 pics and Arnie Interview:
Sci Fi Wire sprak met the man himself Mr. Schwarzenegger over een stunt waarbij The Terminator aan een grote kraan hangt en door de straten wordt geslingerd:"I think everyone will agree when they see it, that it is the most intense chase scene that you've ever seen in any movie. I am stuck on the hook of a crane. The crane is being driven by TX, ... What I go through, the kind of things that were planned stuntwise: ... hanging on the hook, going through buildings and going through cars."
Schwarzenegger said that the scene is shot in part from his character's point of view and that the sequence "took us a long time to shoot, because there were just so many wonderful ideas that were written in the script. The entire sequence is most spectacular, ... but, again, also very very tiring and very dangerous."

Transformers movie!:

Open Range and Bad Boys II Poster:
Click on the pics for larger versions.

Naked Hulk:
Waarschijnlijk was het witte doek niet groot genoeg om de Hulk z'n gespierde....ach, lees zelf maar:"Originally, we thought we could do a nude Hulk with careful lighting, I guess there were some concerns over ratings, so we decided to put tattered clothes on him." Muren admits that "there were some interesting conversations about how the Hulk would look nude." He adds, "It even became complicated when we decided to put purple shorts on him. The question became 'How tight can the shorts be?."
Producer Larry Franklin adds:"If we had a nude Hulk, we were worried that kids would try to stop the DVD and look. If we put nothing there, they would be like, 'There's nothing there.' If we put genitalia there, it opens whole other discussions. I guarantee you that at ILM (the special effects studio), there must be some mockups of the Hulk with all sorts of different body parts." He says, "In one scene, Hulk's clothes get ripped and you do see a piece of his a--.

Live Action version of Neon Genesis Evangelion:
Geweldige optredens gezien van o.a. Queens of the Stone Age, Evanescence and Audio Slave.

Willis Talks Die Hard 4:
USA today sprak met Bruce Willis die iets over Die Hard 4 verklapte:"I always said the genre had kind of run out of gas and had to reinvent itself. I think that's the goal Fox has also. Maybe too much time has gone by since the last one. We'll see. If the first Die Hard were an analog version of an action movie, the kind of action movies that are being made right now are all digital. So, Die Hard 4 would have to be brought up to the modern age."

Robots gaat over het volgende: "The story concerns a young inventor who seeks to create a race of robots to help make the world a better place. Along the way he starts to fall in love with a female business exec robot and must stop a devious businessman and aid another inventor.

07/06/03 - update 11/06/03
Matrix Revolutions update!:
Matrix Producer Joel Silver vertelde wat we kunnen verwachten van Matrix Revolutions:"Reloaded and Revolutions could be one film. But I htink they work best as two sittings. It's quite a lot to absorb. Revolutions is all-out war between the humans and the machines and will, by all accounts, blow your f*****g minds. We have a 14 minute, $40 million battle sequence that is the most complicated sequence ever put on film."
"Reloaded, no problem; even though it was incredibly difficult, there was a lot of buffer time built in. Revolutions, on the other hand is aggressive because it's quite grand. Revolutions is much more epic. More creature based and much more about machines and bio-mechanical places. It's an awesome catagory to work in as a lot of us are big fans of Alien. It's a completely different train to anything we've done before.
"You know Revolutions is the real thing, right? Revolutions is the pay off. Reloaded is just a tease...."
Help me please, Keanu, wil je nog iets toevoegen?:
"The first is about birth. The second about life. The third about death. I don't know though. Maybe it should be called The Matrix Resurrection."
Source: Z Review

De vertikale tekst vermeldt: "Everything That Has A Beginning Has An End."

Thomas Jane training for The Punisher:
USA Today heeft aardig nieuws over The Punisher. Een stuntman en Thomas hadden het volgende te zeggen: "The stuff on the wires and all that crazy dancing that was done so well in Crouching Tiger is beautiful, but it's not very real world. We're kind of going back to old-fashioned days _ serious hand-to-hand combat without all the trickery and dancing." It's scarier, he says. "Stylized violence is a way of stepping away from violence and making it palatable. With our movie, we inject a sense of here's what happens when it really goes down." Jane will spend months training.
How much will he do himself? "I've done a few action films now, and it's very popular to try to do all the stunts yourself _ until the insurance company steps in and says no. No film is going to ever go beyond that."

Lucy Liu Talks Kill Bill!:
Lucy Liu, binnenkort te zien in Charlie's Angels 2, sprak ook over Tarantino's Kill Bill: "It's so violent. People will leave the movie theatre or get sick in the movie theatre. But there's so much violence that it becomes not numbing, but almost comedic. There's a scene where there's so much violence that the color of the film goes into black and white, so that the blood looks like oil. It's cinematic, it's art. You can take it to a different level, and show what violence is, in such a heightened manner that you don't think of it as violence anymore, you think of it as a language. If you go to Kill Bill, you know there's going to be violence - that's your option."
"It's art", you damn right it is! Deze film wil ik ASAP zien...!

Stallone directs again:
Stallone vertolkt de rol van een real-life LAPD detective Russell Poole: "Poole's investigating the murders of Shakur and Smalls. It follows Poole -- who vows to Smalls' mother he'll finger her son's killer -- as he unravels the intrigue and coverups surrounding the crime."
