Newsflash:
Shocking news, with just nine weeks to go until principal photography starts on X-Men 3, director Matthew Vaughn has left the project for personal reasons. Here's the studio's official statement: "London-based Vaughn had planned to travel between his home and the film's Vancouver locations, but as the shooting schedule evolved, he realized he would have to move to Los Angeles and Vancouver for at least a year. Not wishing to uproot his family for an extended period, Vaughn opted to depart the production." Too bad, I wonder who will replace him.
Cool trailer for the horror flick Cry Wolf is online. The movie stars Julian Morris, Lindy Booth, Jared Padalecki and Jon Bon Jovi.
First look at Pride and Prejudice, based on Jane Austen's novel, hit the web. The movie stars Keira Knightley, Donald Sutherland and Judi Dench.

Rambo Returns!:
Hi guys, I haven't received the Box Office results because of the long Memorial Day weekend, but I've got some other interesting news instead. The Stallone fans, me included, will be pleased, Nu Image/Millennium Films has acquired the film rights for the Rambo franchise and plans to start filming in Bulgaria in January 2006. The previous plotline, which centered on a Holy War has been scrapped. Stallone wrote a new draft and here's the official story outline:
Rambo is living with his family in relative peace for the past fifteen years but still working for the military, when work pressures force him to move his family to the American outback. The Navajo-Indian former Green Beret and his family are then subject to an attack by white-supremacists, and Rambo has to risk life-and-limb in rescuing his 10-year old daughter from being held hostage.
That's great, love to see Rambo kick ass again, I'll keep you posted.
