Sin City update!:
Er zijn weer twee acteurs toegevoegd aan de cast van Robert Rodriguez' and Frank Miller's Sin City! Clive Owen en Benicio Del
Toro zullen de volgende mensen vergezellen; Brittany Murphy, Bruce Willis, Josh Hartnett, Mickey Rourke, Nick Stahl, Jessica Alba, Elijah Wood, Carla Gugino, Jaime King... pheww.. en Marley Shelton.
The first set pic van deze film noir gebaseerd op Miller's comic, verscheen op de site van ET Online.
De film wordt volledig met green screens opgenomen, de achtergrond zal later met de computer worden toegevoegd.
"This is the first time a graphic novel will be treated with absolute respect in how it is brought to life," vertelde Rodriguez,
"If you look at Miller's books, you see that in a way they are already the best written, shot and directed 'movies' never seen in a theater."

Ik ben opgegroeid met de stripboeken van Frank Miller, dankzij hem leerde ik veel over tekenen en schilderen (check out the movie art
section). Ik ben zeer benieuwd hoe Rodriguez de comic zal verfilmen!

Newsflash:
Ik heb weer een paar interessante headlines vandaag, think you're gonna love it, here we go:
 Special effects guru Stan Winston, verantwoordelijk voor Terminator, Predator en Jurassic Park, is nu gevraagd om The Superman Costume te ontwerpen!!! Het kostuum krijgt extra spieren en de cape zal van een soort latex gemaakt worden, in de stijl van Batman Begins. Source: Superhero Hype
The Hollywood Reporter bevestigde dat John Woo aan het onderhandelen is om Spy Hunter te regisseren! De actiefilm is gebaseerd op de populaire arcade game uit de jaren 80 (ik heb er zelf nooit van gehoord). The Rock (Welcome to the Jungle) zal de hoofdrol vertolken.

Posters and pic!:
De eerste poster van de brandweermannendrama (pheww...lang woord) Ladder 49 is nu online! Joaquin Phoenix
en John Travolta spelen de hoofdrollen in de film. Ik heb ook de poster van de Tom Cruise film Collateral.
Verder zien we ook Jamie Foxx in deze thriller in de rol van taxichauffeur die gedwongen wordt om voor een huurmoordenaar (Cruise)
te rijden. Michael "Heat" Mann heeft de film geregisseerd. En tenslotte heb ik ook nog een aantal mooie plaatjes gevonden van Vin Diesel

Vin Diesel talks Riddick!:
Vin Diesel sprak over zijn nieuwste scifi film The Chronicles of Riddick:
"I always knew that I wanted to explore the Riddick character and realized that the most exciting thing to do would be to explore the universe around Riddick, Diesel enthuses. We know who Riddick is he doesnt promise to save anybody, he has a lack of identity due to the fact he was never raised in a conventional way. He has abandonment issues and he just wants to be left alone. I love the idea of a guy who potentially could be so heroic, but because of his experiences and his outlook on life, isnt A: aware of what heroism is and B: probably isnt aware of anything outside of basic survival. Its often said on set, what makes this all the more challenging is that were not just making a movie were making a universe. Post-World War II, we had Tolkiens The Lord of the Rings as our mythology to buy into and then, in the Seventies, we had Star Wars. Our concept was to create a mythology that would take three films to explain, three films to adventure in, and a story that would take three films to tell."

The Sun Newspaper beweert de titel van Star Wars Episode III te hebben: Birth Of The Empire.
Dreamwork's Jerry Katzenberg sprak over nog meer Shrek films: "Before the first one was finished we talked about what the whole story of Shrek is, and each of the chapters answers questions about the first movie and gives us an insight. Shrek 3 and 4 are going to reveal other unanswered questions and, finally, in the last chapter, we will understand how Shrek came to be in that swamp, when we meet him in the first movie. U.S. Box Office May 14-16:
Troy was de winnaar afgelopen weekend en kwam met $45 miljoen op nummer 1 binnen in de Amerikaanse Box Office.
Deze week moet de nummer 1 het opnemen tegen Shrek 2, ben benieuwd wie de strijd gaat winnen.

voor Pixars nieuwste film The Incredibles of misschien zie je liever Dreamworks nieuwste tekenfilm
Shark Tale met de stemmen van Will Smith, Robert De Niro, Renee Zellweger, Angelina Jolie, Jack Black en Martin Scorsese.
Het zou ook kunnen dat je meer in de stemming bent voor Keanu Reeves' thriller Constantine.
Maar er is ook een aardige teaser trailer van Ocean's Twelve met in de
