Frank Castle will fight John Travolta in the upcoming Marvel movie! They start filming this summer and will be released in 2004. I think that Travolta is a perfect choice for the role! 14/05/03 Hannibal the prequel?: Producer Dino De Laurentiis just can't let go of Hannibal Lecter. Now he's planning a new project called The Story Of Young Hannibal Lecter. Thomas Harris, the creator and writer of the novels is also involved so that's a positive thing. "Young Hannibal Lecter, follows the serial killer from his childhood in Lithuania through a period in Paris in his teens to his arrival in the US. De Laurentiis said that four actors will be required to play young Lecter at the ages of 12, 16, 20 and 25." X2 will probably slide down to number 2 when Matrix Reloaded will be unleashed around the globe. Newcomer Daddy Day Care with Eddie Murphy did also some nice business last weekend, making it Eddie's third largest opener (following Nutty II and Dr. Dolittle). The Top Ten: 1. Frakes is directing the Thunderbird movie at the moment. I hope that Frakes will stick to Star Trek and pass on Superman, cause he really isn't the man for the job, trust me....(Frakes, please don't do it!) - Latino Review posted some shots of the The Whole Nine yards sequel (called The Whole Ten Yards, original huh?). 10/05/03 Clooney in Fantastic 4?: George Clooney is going to play Reed Richards in Fantastic 4 according to Aint It Cool News. Avi Arad, producer of all the other Marvel movies, wants Clooney...and what he wants, he gets.. Well, I did, and we're gonna see more of Halle Berry in her own Jinx movie! MI6 reported that the script is ready but no title is available. The screenplay was written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade who also wrote Die Another Day. 10/05/03 Dawn of the Dead casting news: Some casting news for the remake of George A. Romero's Dawn of the dead, seems that Ving Rhames and Sarah Polley are going to play in the horror movie. Rhames will play a police officer trapped in a mall with hundreds of hungry zombies hunting him down. This producer is responsible for some great movies including T2, The Abyss, Aliens and the upcoming T3 and The Punisher. Here's what she had to say on some Hulk feedback: "The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
