Wayans in Coen Brothers movie:
Marlon Wayans will work on the Coen Bros comedy Ladykillers. Tom Hanks plays the lead in this remake. The original movie was released in 1955 and starred Alec "OB1" Guinness and Peter Sellers. "Ladykillers centers on an eccentric Southern professor (Hanks) who puts together a gang of double-crossing thieves to rob a riverboat casino. They rent a room in an old woman's house, but when she discovers the scheme, somebody has to kill her. The landlady proves tough to dispatch, however."
I'm always in for a Coen Brothers movie!

T3 news:
A new Terminator 3 poster can be found at Ebay, it looks kinda cool so hit the pic for a larger version. Source: Latino Review
I've got some more T3 news from The Terminator himself Mr. Schwarzenegger. He talked to The Daily Telegraph and told them what the audience can expect: "The audience was surprised [in T2] because I started the movie looking like an evil terminator and then actually I became the protector. There was something touching about this big machine with the little kid. It's the same here again. I'm programmed to be the protector but things start to go wrong and all of a sudden I change in the movie as well. The key thing is that the script has to be smartly written."
Sounds great, I hope this one will kick ass...but I'm still having some doubts.
I'll be back!

Liotta and LL Cool J join forces:
Ray Liotta and rapper LL Cool J will play in the thriller Slow Burn. Wayne Beach wrote and directs the movie that follows a politically ambitious DA (Liotta) being manipulated by a beautiful assistant DA and an enigmatic stranger (Smith) as he engages in a 24-hour showdown with a powerful gang leader.
Sounds cool but I hope that Liotta doesn't start rapping in this one.

ID4 II:
Sci-fi Wire reports that Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich, the guys from ID4, Stargate and Godzilla are working on a script for Independence Day II: "Roland and I are writing it, so hopefully it’ll come out good," Devlin said in an interview. "If not, we’ll bury it.
I think if we had a good script, everyone would want to come back. If the script’s not good, then they’ll probably tell us to go our own way."
Okay, uhm, Mr. Devlin and Mr. Emmerich... ID42005 perhaps?
