Newsflash:
Hi guys, het is een beetje rustig deze week maar heb toch nog een paar mooie trailers kunnen vinden voor de newsflash. Ik wens iedereen een fijne Queensday, ben weer

 De eerste coole teaser trailer van Land of the Dead, geregisseerd door zombie-meister George A. Romero, is online! De cast bestaat uit Simon Baker, Asia Argento, Dennis Hopper en John Leguizamo.

Sky High poster!:
De eerste poster van de superhelden familiefilm Sky High is online verschenen. De film vertelt het verhaal van
een speciale school voor kinderen met bovennatuurlijke krachten. Cast bestaat uit Kelly Preston, Lynda Carter, Michael Angarano, Danielle Panabaker, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Bruce Campbell, Dave Foley, Steven Strait en Kurt Russell.
Klik op de poster voor een grote versie,... Kurt Russell lijkt wel een Power Ranger.

Newsflash:
Hmmm, Michael Bay's production company Platinum Dunes is van plan om een remake te maken van Alfred Hitchcock's horror classic The Birds ! Platinum Dunes heeft eerder met succes remakes geproduceerd van The Texas Chainsaw Massacre en The Amityville Horror. Ze zijn op dit moment bezig met een eigen versie van Rutger Hauer's The Hitcher. Jodie Foster is terug! De eerste trailer van de thriller Flightplan is online! De rest van de cast bestaat uit Peter Sarsgaard, Erika Christensen en Sean Bean. Robert Schwentke regisseerde de film dat gaat over een moeder die haar dochtertje tijdens de vlucht plotseling niet meer kan vinden.
MTV heeft de nieuwe Batman Begins trailer! Klik op de link om de trailer te downloaden, heb zelf helaas nog niet de tijd gehad om een kijkje te nemen.

U.S. Box Office:
Sidney Pollack's thriller The Interpreter met in de hoofdrollen Nicole Kidman en Sean Penn debuteerde op de eerste plaats in de Amerikaanse Box Office!
De andere nieuwkomers hadden verder weinig impact, Ashton Kutcher's romantische komedie A lot Like Love en
Stephen Chow's martials arts komedie Kung Fu Hustle kwamen op de vierde en vijfde plaats binnen. Here's the rest of the Top Ten:

New Batman images!:
Nieuwe setfoto's van Batman Begins en een nieuwe poster van de Caped Crusader zijn op internet verschenen.
De cast bestaat uit Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Ken Watanabe en Katie Holmes. Batman
Begins verschijnt in juni wereldwijd in de bioscoop. Zo te zien heeft Christian Bale flink getraind voor de rol, klik voor meer!

In the episode, main character Nick Stokes is kidnapped by someone with an apparent grudge against the CSIs. By the time he wakes up again, he's trapped in a coffin, together with his loaded handgun and a tape recorder with a message telling him it's probably best to kill himself, as he's going to die anyway. There's also a webcam in the coffin, which transmits an image back to the CSI lab...
Ik ben meer een CSI: Miami fan maar zal zeker uitkijken naar CSI's seizoen afsluiter, genaamd "Grave Danger", omdat niemand minder dan Quentin Tarantino deze aflevering zal regisseren! Thanks to CSIfiles.com for the heads up!

Casting update:
Hieronder weer een overzicht van de nieuwste casting developments!:
Natalie Portman gaat spelen in Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. Zach Helm regisseert de film over een speelgoedwinkel dat tot leven komt.
Jeff Daniels vergezelt Robin Williams in RV. Barry Sonnenfeld regisseert de camper komedie.
Renée Zellweger verzorgt een van de stemmen in Jerry Seinfeld's computeranimatie Bee Movie. "It's an animated feature that he wrote and will produce and star in. It's fantastic, so smart," vertelde Renée, "I'm playing the florist. I'll pop in for a little while in June. I look forward to spending some time and bouncing ideas off the wall with him."
Will Ferrell zal de hoofdrol vertolken in de komedie Land of the Lost. Anchorman's Adam McKay regisseert de film dat gebaseerd is op de gelijknamige TV serie.

Matthew Vaughn talks X3:
Layer Cake's Matthew Vaughn vertelt over zijn eerste big budget flick, X-Men 3.
Hij legt uit hoe hij de baan kreeg:
"It was a mutual finding of each other. I heard Singer wasn't doing it, and I just told my agent that I'd be intrigued and asked "can you get me in a room?" They saw the film and really liked it. 'X-Men' has sort of taken me by surprise. One of the reasons I'm attracted to it is also the reason why I'm scared of it, is that it's such a short amount of time to get it done. I thought maybe it would be good to do it because there's a lot for me to learn if I do it. The irony is that I haven't got the luxury of casting most of these guys, which is going to be odd, especially if I don't like what they're doing, cause I'm going to have to pull them aside and tell them to ignore everything they did in the last film."
Vaughn voegt toe dat hij wel van plan is om een ander soort film te maken dan Bryan Singer's X-Men films. "I think Singer probably treats it in a more simplistic manner then I'm going to," he explains, "It's going to expand on things. There's three or four scenes I know people will just be shocked and close to tears.
I'm all for fans being wary of me; they've got the right to be. I'm just going to make the film as good as I can, and hopefully, they'll like it. I know that there's going to be elements I'm going to be bringing to it that will worry the fans in the sense that I want to make a movie that stands up in twenty, thirty years time basically. The film I'm doing is more in the tone of Unforgiven. I just want to make films that I think are entertaining. I like the idea of doing big budget films with a heart.

First Ghost Rider pic!!!:
De eerste foto van Nicolas Cage als Johnny Blaze a.k.a. Ghost Rider is online verschenen! Nicolas Cage is
volgens regisseur Mark Steven Johnson een hele grote fan van de superheld. "Most of these guys are comic-book geeks like me," vertelde Johnson, "Nic is one of the biggest fans of the comic book out there."
Yep, hij heeft zelfs een tattoo van Ghost Rider's flaming skull! "The irony is we had to remove Nic's Ghost Rider so he could play Ghost Rider," voegde Johnson toe.

Bill Nighy talks Underworld: Evolution:
Bill Nighy, die de rol van slechterik Viktor speelde in Underworld, vertelt dat hij ook weer te zien is
in het vervolg, Underworld: Evolution. Da's een beetje vreemd want hij werd vermoord in de eerste film. "I know, but guess what - they went back in time," legt Bill Nighy uit, "See what I'm saying?
Very clever. So I'm now back in time, in medieval times, in full armour, up a mountain in Canada, in deepest snow, with all the guys. I think they got me back out of pity. I'm not in it a great deal.
As you remember from Underworld 1, I was just one of the elders who were having the centuries-long sleep. I'm largely back to account for the reawakening of the second elder. This is when Marcus comes to town.
The script is absolutely great. I really loved the first one and I think this one is arguably better. The story is a real cracker. And it's sexy this time. Kind of sexy and funny and really romantic, as it was last time. I'm so impressed with Len Wiseman - it's really cool."
De mooie Kate Beckinsale zal ook weer de rol van Selene vertolken en haar echtgenoot Len Wiseman (the lucky bastard) neemt de regie weer voor zijn rekening.

BREAKING NEWS: First pic of Superman Suit!!!:
Oh yeah, de eerste foto van Brandon Routh in de klassieke red, yellow and blue Superman suit is nu online!
Regisseur Bryan Singer wilde trouw blijven aan de eerdere Superman versies die te zien waren in de Max Fleischer cartoons, George Reeves' TV serie en natuurlijk Christopher Reeve's vertolking van the Man of Steel.
Singer besloot om de cape, blauwe bodysuit, het rode broekje en zelfs de V-cut in de laarsen ook te gebruiken voor zijn ontwerp. "I always had the general idea of the suit," vertelde Singer, "However, when the conceptual
art was evolving around the same time that I cast Brandon, I privately had paintings rendered with Brandon's face, which certainly brought it to life."
Hieronder volgt een overzicht van de veranderingen aan het kostuum:
The character's S insignia is slightly smaller and higher on his chest, and instead of being painted on, it's more of a three-dimensional plate.
The insignia is added to Superman's belt buckle.
Costume designer Louise Mingenbach preserved the blue, red and yellow motif, but the shades are slightly darker than the bright primary colors of the comics. Superman's yellow belt is more golden, and his cape is a deep scarlet.
