ARCHIVES WEEK 17-2003

The Grimm Bros:
Director Terry Gilliam's next movie The Brothers Grimm will be shot this summer in Prague (where all the movies are being filmed lately). The estimated budget is $75 million dollars and actors include Heath Ledger and Matt Damon. Jonathan Pryce and Robin Williams who worked with Gilliam on The Fisher King, will play the villians. Seems that Gilliam is back on track after the cursed Don Quichotte project, good luck Terry!

The Wookiee Returns:
Chewie's back! The official Star Wars Site confirms The Wookiee is back...uhm, will make is debut in Episode III. Original Chewie actor Peter Mayhem will be up for the role again: "I'm delighted to return as Chewbacca, I think his re-appearance in this film is a fitting way to tie the whole saga together, especially for Wookiee fans."
Well, you've made this Wookiee fan very happy, George!

Angelina Jolie interview:
Angelina Jolie talked to The South End Newspaper about the upcoming Tomb Raider movie and why the sequel is different than the First: "This movie is more true to the game, it's more of a puzzle. There was a lot of feedback after the first (from fans). The first was more of a fantasy. It was so fantastical to me, and this one is more of a real person living in a real world."
I'm very optimistic about this movie, I think dutch director Jan de Bont (Speed) could make one great rollercoaster ride!
Would Angelina be interested in a third movie?: "I would definitely be open to it if the second is well-received and the audience wants one."

George Lucas delivers Star Wars III script:
George Lucas just finished the first draft of the Star Wars part III script. Producer Rick McCallum had a few things to say: "George will be rewriting to a more formal first draft and will keep revising right up until the start of shooting. The story he wants to tell is firmly in his head. All the details are stored away in there, without a lot of influence from anyone else. He's been talking a lot about how this movie fits with Episode IV in some very cool and unexpected ways."
Need I say more, lets hope this one will be the best Star Wars movie ever! Episode III will be released summer 2004.
