Nicolas Cage goes hip hop! He will join 50 Cent in the prison boxing flick The Dance.
Antonio Banderas will play 16th century explorer Hernan Cortes in the epic Conquistador.
Anna Paquin and Breckin Meyer will star in the romantic comedy Blue State. The film is about a young, idealistic Democratic campaigner who... I've already lost interest.
Tim Allen and George Lopez are mismatched in-laws who have to raise their grandson in the comedy Amigos.
Paul Giamatti and Chris Evans join Scarlett Johansson in The Nanny Diaries. Johansson will play a working-class woman who becomes a nanny to a wealthy family. Chris Evans will play the love interest... or was it Giamatti?

Andy Vajna on Terminator 4!:
Producer Andy Vajna talked about Terminator 4! Will Governor Arnold be back as the cyborg? Here's what Vajna had to say about Arnold and where they'll shoot the flick:
"We were thinking about Australia. We have been looking at the Warner Bros Studios down there but it is early days. That would be probably early next year.
We have the script ready and we are now looking for a director and figuring out what the next step is. We would like Arnie in it as a cameo. We want to go on with the Terminator and turn it into a real sci-fi picture and there is a very interesting role for Arnold if he decides he wants to do it. But I am not sure where he is with his politics and all that, we will see."

Takashi Shimizu talks Grudge 2:
The Grudge 2 will answer some questions, which were raised in the original movie. It will also explain the backstory of the creepy spirit Kayako. Takashi Shimizu, director of the original film, the Hollywood remake and also the sequel, talked about the mysteries of the films:
"For The Grudge 2, I was going for this mystery that was never there in The Grudge 1, and I think that's going to fulfill the audience. There's a secret about Kayako's childhood life, so that's part of the big mystery. And the other mystery is, this grudge will never stop, and it's going to spread. And how is it going to get spread? That's another mystery. The other mystery is, what has happened to Karen, who was the main lead actress in The Grudge 1. So that's another mystery that you'll find out.
The Grudge 1 was a complete remake of Ju-On 1, meaning the storyline was very similar. But The Grudge 2 is actually different from Ju-On 2, and I don't think I would have accepted this job if it was going to be the same storyline. And because it was a different story, you know, my motivation was a bit higher, and I actually enjoy doing this."

Bruce Willis talks Die Hard 4:
It's April Fools' Day, guys... but don't worry, I'll bring you real news and no lame ass jokes! Lets start off with Bruce Willis who talked about Die Hard 4 and a sequel to 16 Blocks(?):
"They're both being written. We've to throw a few more old man jokes in the Die Hard script, while we do that... we might bring Jack Mosley back. I can honestly tell you that Bonnie Bedelia and Reginald VelJohnson, from the first films, are the only guys we've talked about bringing back. There has to be enough room in the scene for my walking cane."
Well, after reading the above update, I still don't know much about Die Hard 4 but it would be cool to see Reginald VelJohnson back in action.

Baz Luhrmann's project on hold!:
Baz Luhrmann's Australian WWII epic, starring Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe, is being delayed. The director explains:
"To say that it is a complex and large-scale undertaking is an understatement and I cannot formally announce the project until all of the crucial elements are secure.
Currently, they are not, and so it is true we've had to disengage some of our very loyal team. As soon as we are able to bring those crucial elements together I will be able to make a formal announcement concerning the starting date of the production, at which time it will also be named."
Filming had to start in August at the absolute latest because of the wet season but it looks like the production will now start in 2007.

Antonio Banderas talks Shrek 3 and more:
Zorro star Antonio Banderas will return as Puss in Boots in Shrek 3 and also plans to make a Puss in Boots spin-off flick. Banderas gives an update:
"Tomorrow I'm going to my fist session of recording for him. The story and the recording of the Shrek films is very open. We improvise a lot, and many new things come during every session, and then they take all of that material and put it together with the animation.
We will have the Puss in Boots spinoff movie, it is interesting to do a movie only with the character, called Puss in Boots: The Story of an Ogre Killer. It would be between the third and the fourth Shrek. And in the fourth Shrek, I think, I'm going to play two characters: I'm going to play Puss in Boots and his badass brother. So I will have to invent another voice for him."
