Trailers and Posters!:
 Fox Searchlight heeft de distributierechten gekocht van de Russische scifi-horror Nochnoj Dozor, ook bekend als Night Watch, en de eerste indrukwekkende trailer is hier te downloaden! Wel doen, want het is de moeite waard.
Een nieuwe Japanse War of the Worlds trailer met nieuw materiaal, is hier te zien.
Ik heb vandaag twee nieuwe posters gevonden! We beginnen met de aardige poster van de actie-komedie Mr. and Mrs. Smith met Brad Pitt en Angelina Jolie in de hoofdrol. Poster nummer twee (en een stuk mooier dan die van Brad) is Batman Begins! Klik op de pics voor grote versies.

The Emperor Strikes Back!:
Scifi Wire had een goed gesprek met Ian McDiarmid, beter bekend als Emperor Palpatine in de Star Wars films. Ian vertelde
hoe George Lucas hem benaderde om weer The Emperor te spelen in de prequels:
"When I heard George was going to do prequels, I kind of hoped he would give me a ring, and he did. I knew he was in town, and I went in and had a 10-minute meeting. I hadn't seen him in 20 years, and he looked exactly the same to me. I had a glass of water. He asked, 'Do you know anyone that would like to play an Emperor?' I said, 'It's funny you should say that.' ...He said, 'OK, you can give the water back,' and that was that. He told me a little about the progress of Palpatine through the prequels and what the journey would be like. He said he would start quiet and end big, and that's exactly what's happened.
I think the Emperor is the incarnation of evil, and he's only really interested in power and manipulation. Nothing else gives him any pleasure. He's a Sith from way back, and they don't have a moral universe. They want to create power for themselves by destroying others. It's very interesting to play a character that is irredeemable.
I think it's terrific for me that the final film is also my character's apotheosis. He really explodes in all his unbridled evil. Hypocrisy goes to one side and you see this creature for what he really is. It's been interesting to play the character in the last two movies on the sidelines, and now he moves into the middle. It's a very satisfying personal climax and a privilege."
Geweldig! Star Wars Episode III - Revenge of the Sith draait vanaf 19 mei in de bioscopen!

Newsflash:
Denzel Washington speelt de rol van ruige cop in Inside Man, een nieuwe film van Spike Lee. De acteur werkt nu na Mo Better Blues, Malcolm X en He Got Game voor de vierde keer samen met Lee. "We start shooting it shortly," vertelde Spike Lee, "After he finishes his run on Broadway. It’s something different for Denzel and me. I’m looking forward to working with him again." The official site van The Honeymooners met Cedric the Entertainer in de hoofdrol, is online. The War of the Worlds website heeft een facelift gekregen en bevat nieuwe pics, trailers en andere goodies.

Waanzinnige poster van Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is online! En er is ook een TV spot te downloaden via deze link!
De eerste poster van The Greatest Game Ever Played is ook verschenen. De golf flick, dat gebaseerd is op ware gebeurtenissen, is geregisseerd door Bill Paxton. De cast bestaat uit Justin Ashforth, Luke Askew en Shia LaBeouf. Klik op de pics voor grote versies.

The official Charlie and the Chocolate Factory website is vernieuwd met veel goodies. Klik op het "Wonka Industries" logo voor verborgen previews.
Roland Emmerich (Day After Tomorrow) en Micheal Bay (The Island) staan boven aan het lijstje om de live-action versie van Transformers te regisseren! Michael Bay loopt volgens AICN iets voor op Emmerich.
Sith happens on TV! Drie geweldige Star Wars Revenge of the Sith commercials zijn op de buis verschenen en je kan ze nu ook downloaden door op de volgende links te klikken; Tragedy, Dark side unleashed en Teaser.

Ryan Reynolds talks The Flash!!!:
Ryan Reynolds, bekend als Nightstalker in David Goyer's Blade: Trinity, kan niet wachten om
de hoofdrol te spelen in superheldenfilm The Flash dat ook geregisseerd zal worden door Goyer. Reynolds vertelde het volgende over de film:
"The Flash is something David Goyer is writing now and we're hoping WB will greenlight it The story he has for it is unbelievable. I mean you know it's such a mind-boggling story, so I'm really excited about it. There's so much I didn't realize about the laws of physics and relativity that you can get into with the Flash. And you know the fact that he's basically doing things like arriving before he's left. I mean this stuff to me is really interesting to capture on film.
If it all goes well, I'll be playing it. I have a penchant for wearing red unitards to various parties around town so I'm in. There's nothing contractual about it. David Goyer and I have always said we would like to do it together and WB seems to approve of that."
