Watchmen set report!:
The guys from Empire Online got a chance to visit the set of Watchmen. The Superhero flick is based on Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons classic comics. The Bourne Supremacy's Paul Greengrass will direct Watchmen, here's a clip of the set visit:

"Watchmen, the seminal tale of a group of outlawed masked heroes who stumble upon a conspiracy that may either save the world - or destroy it, and them, completely.
We also saw some early concept art placing a certain Hollywood star in the costume of the film's arguable lead, Dan Dreiberg aka The Nite Owl. And it looked pretty damned good. The Nite Owl costume has been a concern of some fans for a while - it's very 80s, very bulky, and quite frankly, it involves a man dressing up as a giant owl. However, Barrett and her team have revamped it, giving the costume a hard, metallic, 'don't fuck with me' sheen, while the Nite Owl's goggles - which stylistically correspond with his Owlship - are very, very frickin' cool.
Watchmen is going to be a very gritty picture, both tonally and visually. And political as hell, which you might expect from Greengrass, who after all directed Bloody Sunday and The Bourne Supremacy, wrote Spycatcher with Peter Wright and has dabbled in political television for years."

Tarantino on casting Inglorious Bastards:
Quentin Tarantino revealed who he'd like to see in his upcoming WWII flick Inglorious Bastards:
"I've said it once and I am going to say it again. I want Bruce, Sly and Arnold for my World War II epic. I have always dream of having these 3 superstars together in a movie. Initially Inglorious Bastards was suppose to be in production way back in 1998 with these casts but I shifted my attention on my other projects such as Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction and Sin City. And right now I think it's the best time to have them. I am very well free right now to focus on this big project that I have had in mind for quite a number of years. I am very well getting this into production this year for a 2006 release.
Schwarzenegger has his movie coming up by 2006 called The Kid and I... so I hope he can make it for my movie too. We'll see. Maybe during the holidays. We'll shoot the movie quickly. It's possible."
Sounds great, don't you think? Hope it all works out, I'll keep you posted.

Avi Arad talks X-men 3:
Marvel's Avi Arad talked about X-men 3, which will be directed by Matthew Vaughn. Here's what Avi said about introducing new characters and story details:
"There will be interesting characters that will be introduced. It just has to move forward. Obviously we have Wolverine, and Magneto, Professor X, Storm, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Rogue, all these characters, but then you need to freshen up the story and make it new. This is a bigger story. Everybody's expecting Dark Phoenix, but Dark Phoenix would never be the main show. She'll be one of the characters, that's it. There are a lot of stories to tell. We needed something that is very big. In movie two, it was mutants against humans. In movie one, it was trying to understand. In movie three, it is probably philosophically the most interesting and provocative for all of us.
It's funny because when we sat with Tom Rothman (Fox), he said 'this has to be an action drama' and it was music to my ears, because that's what X-Men is. That opens the door for a concept for this movie that will be disturbing and fascinating and controversial.
All I can say is it's going to be a very interesting dilemma. It's a very intelligent movie. I think it's contextually going to be the best. We are so excited."
