Newsflash:
Hi guys, helaas geen schokkend Hollywood nieuws vandaag maar gelukkig vond ik wel een paar interessante newsbits voor de newsflash. Volgende update is dit weekend:
 Shrek the Third! Dat is de nieuwe titel van de derde film. Here's the official synopsis; "Shrek the Third finds Shrek and Fiona reluctantly reigning over Far, Far Away. But if they can find the heir to the throne and bring him back, they can return to their swamp. While Shrek, Donkey and Puss in Boots are in search of the heir, Fiona holds off a coup d'etat by Prince Charming." De stemmen worden verzorgd door Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy, Antonio Banderas en Justin Timberlake.
De website van de 9/11 dramafilm United 93 is online. Paul Greengrass (The Bourne Supremacy) regisseerde de film over deze angstaanjagende vlucht, klik hier om naar de site te gaan.
Evan Rachel Wood speelt naast Michael Douglas in de komedie The King of California. De film gaat over een jong meisje en haar excentrieke vader die beweert dat er goud ligt begraven onder een Wal-Mart winkel. Source: Production Weekly

Ron Howard's volgende film wordt Last Man Home. Het verhaal gaat over een soldaat die een eigen missie begint om zijn vermiste broer op te sporen in Irak. Source: Variety

Brandon Routh talks Superman Returns!:
Acteur Brandon Routh sprak met Latino Review over zijn versie van the Man of Steel in Superman Returns.
"Its different slightly because of the script, different demands," vertelde Routh, "I think in this film we see Superman enduring a lot more emotional stress because he's gone away and not said his goodbyes. So he's having to work through relationships again, Lois isn't happy that he left and so he has to reconnect with a lot of people, his mother, all these people. So emotionally he's in a different place, he's growing up and maturing and because these things he learns things and grows from that. So that's a big difference in how my Superman is different. It's in the story."
De film heeft een speelduur van ongeveer 2.45 uur, Routh maakt zich geen zorgen om een lange zit. "It moves pretty quickly," verklaarde Routh, "I saw a very early version of it and its changing all the time, but I was excited and I knew what was happening in the movie and I was so excited to see it but I don't think there is a problem with the time, in fact I think its important to have as much as you can in the film as long as it keeps moving quickly because that's what people want, they want to see all that as much as they can."

Failure to Launch, de nummer 1 van vorige week, viel terug naar een tweede positie door het geweld van de sci-fi thriller V for Vendetta. De film opende ijzersterk met 26 miljoen dollars, well done! Here's the rest of the Top Ten:
