Guillermo del Toro talks Hellboy:
Guillermo del Toro is trots op zijn nieuwste film Hellboy! De Blade II regisseur vertelde het volgende over de film:
"The humor is very big in it," del Toro said. "It starts rather grand. The 1940s section is like a little war movie, but then, when we come to the present, the tone shifts into Hellboy mode, which is very dry humor, very dark. The good thing about the movie is not only does it have spectacle and humor, but it has heart and a sweetness and a lightness in spite of all the dark characters and the monsters and all that. We're going to be rated PG-13, and I dare say that it's a movie that kids and parents can see together."
Hellboy draait in het voorjaar in de Amerikaanse bioscopen.

Joe Johnston on JP IV:
Regisseur Joe Johnston (The Rocketeer, JP III) sprak met Latino Review over zijn nieuwste film Hidalgo maar
hij wist ook iets te vertellen over Jurassic Park IV:
Are you going to direct "Jurassic Park IV"?
Joe: Nobody has made me an offer yet. I know that there is a story now that is being written that is-it takes the franchise in a completely new direction. Away from the island and away from the t-rex and all this, it's a great story and I sort of hope Spielberg will direct it.

Guess who joins Batman!:
Gary Oldman speelt mee in Batman Begins! Hij vertolkt de rol van Lieutenant James Gordon, de belangrijke contactpersoon van The Caped Crusader. De cast bestaat verder uit Christian Bale als Batman, Michael Caine als Alfred, Katie Holmes, Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman en Ken Watanabe.

Marvel takes over the World!:
Heb veel comic filmnieuws vandaag, Marvel's Avi Arad gaf een overzicht van hun toekomstige comic based movies,
prepare to drool:
 For 2005, Arad says Fantastic Four will be released in July. He mentioned they've got a great script and are now picking the right director. Elektra starts production this May, Iron Man starts production in the middle of the year for a November, 2005 release. Ghost Rider and Luke Cage are also targeted for 2005 by Sony Pictures.
Also in the works are X-Men 3 (2006), The Hulk 2 (2006), Namor (2006), The Punisher 2 (2006), Iron Fist, Black Widow and Deathlok. Namor he says is like "Star Wars underwater... a fascinating frontier". He compared it to "Jurassic Park" as something viewers have never seen before. They've got visual designs for the film already and are talking to directors for a 2006 release. The Hulk 2 will be much different than the first film. Arad referred to the sequel as the "light" version with it not being as heavy, or dramatic.
Marvel is also talking about bringing Captain America and Nick Fury to the big screen.
Avi Arad vertelde ook dat Spider-man 2 een "spectacular movie" is en we een "bigger and better"
Blade III film kunnen verwachten! Beide films komen dit jaar uit. Thanks to Superhero Hype.

Robert Rodriguez (Desperado, Spy Kids) heeft al weer bekend gemaakt wat zijn volgende project gaat worden nadat hij Frank Miller's comic Sin City heeft verfilmd. Zijn volgende film gaat A Princess of Mars worden. De sci-fi spektakel vertelt het verhaal van een burgeroorlog officier die geteleporteerd wordt naar Mars waar een reuzachtige Marsman met vier armen en een handvol mooie prinsessen op hem wachten... John Singleton (Boyz in the Hood, 2 Fast 2 Furious) gaat waarschijnlijk een live action versie maken van de comic Luke Cage. Source: The Hollywood Reporter.
Marvel's Avi Arad vertelde dat er plannen worden gemaakt voor Spider-man 3 met een mogelijke release date ergens in 2007. Spider-man 2 verschijnt deze zomer in de bioscopen. Source: Variety.

The Batsuit description!:

heeft meer informatie over de Batsuit:
"The body and sections are dark grey and rippled somewhat to look like real skin, imagine how they portrayed Spawn and you get the right idea. The Batsymbol is across the chest armour and not in a yellow oval. The cowl and cape are black or dark blue, the cowl looks like the skin material too and is thinner and has realistic human features like cheekbones and forehead.
The ears are fairly long like in the previous movies and the design of the eyes and jaw cutaways are similar. Overall the suit doesnt look as exaggeratedly muscular as it was before and the rubber like material is thinner. I would be worried if this was made for any of the previous actors but Christian Bale is carrying a bit of bulk and beef and this suit would have been made specifically for his larger frame."

Sky Captain poster:
Een nieuwe poster van Jude Law's Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow is nu online. De film
speelt zich af in New York City 1939, waar een reporter ontdekt dat alle grote wetenschappers zijn verdwenen.
Samen met een piloot en een avonturier gaat ze op zoek naar de oorzaak. De rest van de cast bestaat uit Angelina Jolie en

U.S. Box Office Feb 27-29:
Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ zegende de Amerikaanse Box Office en kwam op de eerste
plaats binnen! Adam Sandler's komedie 50 First Dates doet het nog steeds prima met een tweede
plaats. Ashley Judd's thriller Twisted kwam op nummer drie binnen, het vervolg op Dirty Dancing,
Havana Nights, debuteerde op de vijfde plaats en zal ongetwijfeld binnen enkele weken weer uit

Charlize Theron zal de hoofdrol spelen in Aeon Flux! De sci-fi film is gebaseerd op de animatie serie
dat jaren geleden werd vertoond op MTV. "Aeon Flux is set 400 years in the future in a world where humans have nearly
been wiped out by a virus, with the remains of mankind living in a city encased in a protective bubble.
