Pirates of the Caribbean story details:
Disney Chairman Dick Cook revealed new details about the two Pirates of the Caribbean sequels:

"This time around, Johnny returns as Captain Jack Sparrow and is caught in yet another tangled web of supernatural intrigue. It turns out, Captain Jack owes a blood debt to the legendary Davey Jones, ruler of the ocean depths and captain of the ghostly Flying Dutchman. If Jack can't figure a crafty way out of this one, he'll be cursed to an afterlife of eternal servitude and damnation. And as if that weren't enough, Captain Jack's problems throw a huge wrench into the wedding plans of the blissful Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann, who quickly find themselves thrust into Jack's misadventures."

Dick also said that part 2 will be called Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and will hit theatres in the summer of 2006, part 3 will follow in the summer of 2007. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer, director Gore Verbinski and stars Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley are all back. New castmembers include Chow Yun-Fat and Stellan Skarsgård.

Barry Sonnenfeld (Get Shorty) will direct the on-the-road-comedy RV and Robin Williams will play the lead. Masters of comedy, Lowell Ganz and Babaloo, did a rewrite of the original script by Geoff Rodkey. Source: Production Weekly
Terminator 3 star Nick Stahl revealed that neither he nor Claire Danes will appear in Terminator 4! "None of the cast is coming back," Nick said, "The [T4] story is changing conceptually. I believe it's a jump to the future, so my character will be quite a bit older. That's all that I know. So I'm not coming back, which is a drag. I don't know much more than that." Too bad and I'm pretty sure Schwarzenegger also isn't coming back. Source: Scifi Wire
The poster for Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous is now online! The comedy stars Sandra Bullock, Regina King, Enrique Murciano and William Shatner. Click on the poster for a closer look.

Love you, Sandra!

Sam Raimi talks Spider-Man 3!:
Director Sam Raimi confirmed that the villain for Spider-Man 3 has been settled on... but he's not allowed to talk about it. He did talk about developing the story and selecting a villain:
"Alvin Sargent is writing the screenplay right now. I'm not supposed to [talk about the villain].
What I did was, when I worked on the story with my brother Ivan, I determined what journey I felt was most important for Peter Parker to take. He's a young man so this is a coming of age story and he's on a journey to becoming a more responsible adult - in each of the movies. So once [we] determined Peter Parker's journey, we tried to determine a villain that best presented some aspect of that fault so that he could literally stand in the way of the growth of Peter Parker.
We wanted to have a villain not only who would fulfill the character needs but somebody who could entertain the audience on a visceral level and provide great visuals, something we haven't seen before, and create a real challenge and great foe for Spider-Man and his unique spidery, spider-like powers."

Rachel Weisz talks The Fountain:
Rachel Weisz (Constantine) talked to Scifi Wire about her new project, The Fountain, which is described as an epic sci-fi love story! Here's what she had to say about the story and the director Darren Aronofsky:
"I'm blown away by his directing. I've never come across anything like it. I mean, you probably know from his movies that he gets very, very raw, very emotional performances from his actors, and when he does that it's incredible.
This is a very different sci-fi from anything anyone will have seen before. It's a great, big love story, a huge love story that goes through time, and it has a science-fiction kind of thing to it. It's very original. That's why it's sort of difficult to explain. But it's unlike anything anybody's ever seen before, thank God. It's about the search for the fountain of youth, hence the title."

Superman Returns synopsis?:
Don't know if it's the real deal, but Kryptonsite claims to have the synopsis for Superman Returns:
"From Bryan Singer, director of the X-Men films, comes a new chapter in the Superman saga. Metropolis' villainous Lex Luthor (Academy Award winner Kevin Spacey - American Beauty, The Usual Suspects) allies himself with a malevolent alien, a demonic brainiac from Krypton, who's out to kill Superman. Superman is overmatched and dies . . . until he's resurrected by an ally from Krypton. Thanks to the love he shares with Lois Lane, he's given his super strength back in the action-filled thriller Superman Returns."
Is this official? What do you think, let me know!

The Rock talks future projects!:
The Rock talked to Latino Review and revealed some interesting stuff about his future movies. Here's what he had to say about the action thriller Spy Hunter, currently in production with John Woo attached as director:
"With a movie like Spy Hunter, everybody's so excited about it, because conceptually it's great. With the car it's fantastic. It's just a matter of trying to find the right tone. We've looked at script after script. In a way, I give credit to the studio, where they're like, 'It's good, but let's be great.' I love that, and I love that attitude. They're continuing to write it. It's just a matter of finding the right tone. Of trying to mix a futuristic-James Bond-eque, if you will, with the levity from True Lies."

Sounds great, could be a fun flick! The Rock also stars opposite John Travolta in the Get Shorty sequel Be Cool. The Rock portrays a gay, singing, sensitive bodyguard. "He's this gay Samoan bodyguard who's in the music business," The Rock says, "who wants to get out of the music business; he wants to be in Hollywood; he wants to make movies. His choice of music is interesting, because he loves to sing and play guitar, but he loves to sing old-school country western songs, sung by women. So in the movie, one of my favorite songs is, 'You ain't woman enough to take my man.' You root for Elliot throughout the movie."
And there's more, The Rock is also planning to star in a Johnny Bravo feature film!
