It's official, X-Men: The Last Stand:
Fox Studio Head Tom Rothman spilled the beans! He confirms X3's official title will be X-Men: The Last Stand and adds that the movie will be the conclusion of this trilogy but more (spin-off) films are planned. Here's what Tom had to say about the film and director Brett Ratner:

"I'm thrilled. I mean I am over the moon about it because I think it's what we always hoped for which is, it is, the most emotional...it's intense, I'll tell you, it's intense, I mean it's a real...it's the intense climax of the journey of those characters through the first two movies to this. It's very emotional, and it's serious, there's a lot of fun to it but it's very, way, way more emotional and in that regard it's bigger obviously in terms of scope and effects, it's bigger than the first two combined. But, it's bigger in terms of the importance of the idea. The cure story which everybody knows is accurate, that's one thing that's been reported that is accurate. It's a very relevant allegory for today. If you could change who you were would you?
He (Brett Ratner) did a great job, that's one of the things...very experienced and he's a very experienced big movie director. The other thing about Brett is he's been in this circumstance before. When he did Hannibal (Red Dragon), he was coming into a series, into a franchise so he's very experienced in inhabitting a world and moving that world forward. The other thing is the size, the enormity of it, just from a technical point of view, he's an experienced director he's done a lot of big films so he held up extrememly well. The interesting thing about Brett was, it was always, for him, about the emotion and about the performance and about the reality of the characters. So, look it's...whether I like it or not I am going to stand in judgement on it but I am proud to do it, the movie's got something to say."

Tom also revealed that Alien vs Predator 2 is in development; "They just got the script in...we are making that movie, it's gonna be kick ass."
I don't know, man, please be sure this flick will be R-Rated! Click here for the rest of the interview!

The Da Vinci Code pics!:
Bunch of new pics for The Da Vinci Code appeared online. The movie stars Tom Hanks, Audrey "Amelie" Tatou, Ian McKellan, Paul Bettany and Jean Reno. I'm confident that director Ron Howard will deliver a solid film... the only thing that scares me is Tom Hanks' hair! Click on the pic for more!

Rest in peace Chris Penn:
Actor Chris Penn (brother of Sean Penn) was found dead in his Santa Monica home. Few details were released surrounding Penn's death late Tuesday afternoon, though sources reported there were no signs of foul play and an autopsy was to be conducted to determine the cause of death. Chris Penn played supporting roles in many, many movies; Best of the Best, At Close Range, True Romance, Rush Hour and of course Reservoir Dogs.
Chris Penn was 43 years old, my thoughts are with his friends and family.

V For Vendetta pics!:
MovieXplosion.com presents great new images of V For Vendetta! Set against the futuristic landscape of totalitarian Britain, V For Vendetta tells the story of a mild-mannered young woman named Evey (Natalie Portman) who is rescued from a life-and-death situation by a masked vigilante (Hugo Weaving) known only as "V." Incomparably charismatic and ferociously skilled in the art of combat and deception, V ignites a revolution when he detonates two London landmarks and takes over the government-controlled airwaves, urging his fellow citizens to rise up against tyranny and oppression.
James McTeigue, second unit director of the Matrix trilogy, helms this epic action flick that star Hugo Weaving, Natalie Portman, Stephen Rea and John Hurt. The Wachowski Bros wrote the script. Click on the pic to enter the gallery!

Kate Beckinsale talks Click:
Kate Beckinsale, star of the #1 Box Office flick Underworld: Evolution, talked about her next project, the romantic comedy Click, which co-stars Adam Sandler.
"It actually is really fun," Kate said, "And every time I try and describe it, it sounds really lame, But it's actually very fun." Sandler plays a workaholic who forgets to spend quality time with the family. "And then he goes in through the back door of Bed, Bath & Beyond," Kate continued, "And encounters creepy Christopher Walken, who gives him this universal remote that's going to change his life. And it works. Basically, he can speed through anything tedious in his life, lots of which is me. Then it starts to actually sort of have a memory and take on speed for him and fast-forward through things. And so he finds that he'll get into bed with his wife and suddenly it gets to the end of it before he wants it to. Everything starts to get out of control, and he misses decades and all that. It's very funny and very moving and sweet as well. It's a cool movie."
Well, Sandler and Christopher Walken are in the film, so this should be fun!

King of New York returns!:
Remember that cool 1990 flick King of New York, which starred Christopher Walken, David Caruso and Laurence Fishburne? Well, director Abel Ferrara's next project will be a prequel to King of New York! The Last Crew will be set in the 1970s when New York City was on the verge of bankruptcy and crime was rampant. The story centers on mobster Frank White who has a special agreement with President Carter's chief-of-staff, which essentially gives him a license to kill.
