It's official, X-Men: The Last Stand:
Fox Studio Head Tom Rothman zat op zijn praatstoel en liet veel los over X-Men 3. Hij bevestigde dat X3 een nieuwe titel heeft gekregen, X-Men: The Last Stand, en
dat de film het laatste deel vormt van de trilogie. Dat betekent niet het einde van X-Men, want meerdere (spin-off) films staan in de pipeline. Tom vertelde het volgende over de film en regisseur Brett Ratner:
"I'm thrilled. I mean I am over the moon about it because I think it's what we always hoped for which is, it is, the most emotional...it's intense, I'll tell you, it's intense, I mean it's a real...it's the intense climax of the journey of those characters through the first two movies to this. It's very emotional, and it's serious, there's a lot of fun to it but it's very, way, way more emotional and in that regard it's bigger obviously in terms of scope and effects, it's bigger than the first two combined. But, it's bigger in terms of the importance of the idea. The cure story which everybody knows is accurate, that's one thing that's been reported that is accurate. It's a very relevant allegory for today. If you could change who you were would you?
He (Brett Ratner) did a great job, that's one of the things...very experienced and he's a very experienced big movie director. The other thing about Brett is he's been in this circumstance before. When he did Hannibal (Red Dragon), he was coming into a series, into a franchise so he's very experienced in inhabitting a world and moving that world forward. The other thing is the size, the enormity of it, just from a technical point of view, he's an experienced director he's done a lot of big films so he held up extrememly well. The interesting thing about Brett was, it was always, for him, about the emotion and about the performance and about the reality of the characters. So, look it's...whether I like it or not I am going to stand in judgement on it but I am proud to do it, the movie's got something to say."
Tom onthulde ook dat er plannen zijn voor Alien vs Predator 2; "They just got the script in...we are making that movie, it's gonna be kick ass."
Ik weet niet zeker of ik hier blij mee ben, als ze er maar voor zorgen dat de nieuwe film R-Rated wordt! Klik hier voor de rest van het interview!

The Da Vinci Code pics!:
Nieuwe The Da Vinci Code foto's zijn op internet verschenen. De cast van de film bestaat uit Tom Hanks, Audrey "Amelie" Tatou, Ian McKellan, Paul Bettany en Jean Reno.
Ik ben ervan overtuigd dat regisseur Ron Howard een onderhoudende film zal leveren... ik maak me alleen zorgen om het kapsel van Tom Hanks! Dude, come on! Klik op de pic voor meer!

Rest in peace Chris Penn:
Acteur Chris Penn (broer van Sean Penn) is afgelopen dinsdag overleden in zijn huis in Santa Monica. Weinig details zijn bekend maar men gaat ervan uit dat het een natuurlijke doodsoorzaak betreft.
Chris Penn speelde meestal bijrollen in heel veel films; Best of the Best, At Close Range, True Romance, Rush Hour en Reservoir Dogs.
Chris Penn was 43 years old, my thoughts are with his friends and family.

Newsflash:
 Dodgeball's Rawson Marshall Thurber gaat een filmversie regisseren van Magnum P.I.. De film wordt een komedie in de stijl van de Starsky and Hutch bioscoopfilm waarin Ben Stiller de hoofdrol speelde. Source: Variety

Geweldige casting; Mickey Rooney, Dick Van Dyke en Bill Cobbs zijn te zien als security guards van The Museum of Natural History in de Ben Stiller komedie Night at the Museum. Ben Stiller speelt een andere bewaker die een magisch tablet in het museum vindt. De drie bejaarde bewakers willen het afpakken omdat ze door het tablet weer jong kunnen worden. V For Vendetta pics!:
MovieXplosion.com heeft nieuwe V For Vendetta foto's! James McTeigue, second unit director van de Matrix trilogy, heeft deze actiefilm geregisseerd. De rollen worden o.a. vertolkt door Hugo Weaving, Natalie Portman, Stephen Rea en John Hurt. The Wachowski Bros hebben het script geschreven, hier volgt de officiële synopsis:
"Set against the futuristic landscape of totalitarian Britain, V For Vendetta tells the story of a mild-mannered young woman named Evey (Natalie Portman) who is rescued from a life-and-death situation by a masked vigilante (Hugo Weaving) known only as "V." Incomparably charismatic and ferociously skilled in the art of combat and deception, V ignites a revolution when he detonates two London landmarks and takes over the government-controlled airwaves, urging his fellow citizens to rise up against tyranny and oppression."

Kate Beckinsale talks Click:
Kate Beckinsale, ster van de #1 Box Office flick Underworld: Evolution, vertelt over haar nieuwe film, de romantische komedie Click. De mooie actrice is in de film te zien naast mijn favoriete comedian Adam Sandler.
"It actually is really fun," vertelt Kate, "And every time I try and describe it, it sounds really lame, But it's actually very fun." Sandler speelt een workaholic die vergeet om quality time te
spenderen aan zijn familie. "And then he goes in through the back door of Bed, Bath & Beyond," vervolgt Kate, "And encounters creepy Christopher Walken, who gives him this universal remote that's going to change his life.
And it works. Basically, he can speed through anything tedious in his life, lots of which is me. Then it starts to actually sort of have a memory and take on speed for him and fast-forward through things. And so he finds that he'll get into bed with his wife and suddenly it gets to the end of it before he wants it to. Everything starts to get out of control, and he misses decades and all that. It's very funny and very moving and sweet as well. It's a cool movie."
Sandler en Christopher Walken samen in een film? Dat moet gewoon leuk worden!

King of New York returns!:
Remember King of New York? Die geweldige film uit 1990 met Christopher Walken, David Caruso en Laurence Fishburne in de hoofdrol? Well, regisseur Abel Ferrara's volgende film wordt een prequel van King of New York!
The Last Crew speelt zich af in New York City, 1970. Een jaar dat de stad gebukt ging onder grote economische problemen, en de georganiseerde misdaad zijn hoogtepunt bereikte. Het verhaal gaat over mobster Frank White die een deal heeft gesloten met President Carter's chief-of-staff, waardoor hij buiten de wet valt en ongestoord zijn tegenstanders kan vermoorden.

Interessante behind-the-scenes clip van 300 is nu te downloaden! Zack Snyder (Dawn of the Dead 2004) regisseert de historische film dat
gebaseerd is op Frank Miller's graphic novel over de Spartaanse krijgers. 300 wordt een combinatie van live action en CGI achtergronden, deze stijl werd ook gebruikt in Frank Miller's Sin City. De cast bestaat uit
