Newsflash:
 Maggie Gyllenhaal speelt tegenover Will Ferrell in de komedie Stranger Than Fiction. Ferrell speelt een man die een stem in zijn hoofd hoort. Source: Variety
Gwyneth Paltrow speelt naast Annette Bening in Running With Scissors. The film is gebaseerd op een waargebeurd verhaal over een moeder die haar zoon laat adopteren door haar psychiater die als tweedruppels water op Santa Claus lijkt. Source: Production Weekly
Interessante trailer van The Cave is nu online. De cast bestaat uit Cole Hauser, Morris Chestnut en Eddie Cibrian. De film lijkt volgens mij een beetje op Pitch Black, klik hier om de trailer te zien.

McCallum talks Revenge of the Sith rating:
Producer Rick McCallum sprak over de leeftijdskeuring van Star Wars - Revenge of the Sith. Hij is van plan om de film een "PG-13" (12 jaar) te geven i.p.v. de gebruikelijke "PG" (6 jaar):
"I think it will be PG-13, but with sufficient warnings. We never have any blood. But there is a lot of... interesting stuff.
I think this is the film everybody's been yearning for. For some people, the painful parts of the earlier films will start to make sense. [For] fans who may have been disappointed, say, dealing with an 8-year-old boy when they wanted a more adult story, this kind of fulfills everything."

Ik heb veel negatieve reacties gelezen over de Fantastic Four trailer. Begrijp er niets van, want ik vind de trailer
echt fantastisch!!! Man, I love the look, the special effects and of course The Thing, check out the screenshots:

Leguizamo talks Land of the Dead:
John Leguizamo sprak over zijn nieuwste film Land of the Dead dat geregisseerd wordt door horror veteraan George A. Romero:
"It's an apocalyptic world and it's very political too, but it's more of an action [movie]. It's very operatic too, it's a very ambitious piece. It's an action movie, it's political, it's got a little bit of comic relief as well. The zombies have taken over, and there are only certain patches of right-wing people controlling everything, and then the working-class people like me and Simon Baker come in and to try to help get supplies from the zombies. It's amazing, man. I felt blessed; I mean, I'm not religious, but all of a sudden I felt like 'wow'.
I've never worked on a movie where there was so much - except there's a lot of blood in this, but not like that. I mean, they put real guts into mannequins and pull out spleens and intestines."

Golden Globes Winners!:
Martin Scorsese's The Aviator was de grote winnaar van de Golden Globes Awards afgelopen nacht.
De film won een award voor Best Motion Picture en Leonardo DiCaprio voor Best Actor.
De dramafilm Closer deed het ook goed, Natalie Portman won de Best Actress award en Clive Owen Best Supporting Role. Klik hier voor de rest van de winnaars.

Wow, Elektra flopt met een vijfde plaats!!! Da's jammer want ik had goede hoop voor de film en Jennifer
Garner ziet er 'indrukwekkend' uit in haar rode leren pakje. Ben Stiller's Meet the Fockers viel terug naar
een tweede plaats maar doet het nog steeds prima en heeft inmiddels $230 miljoen opgebracht! Samuel L. Jackson was de grote winnaar,
de basketball drama Coach Carter kwam met $23 miljoen op de eerste plaats binnen. Here's the rest of the Top Ten:

Johnson talks Ghost Rider:
Regisseur Mark Steven Johnson sprak over de Ghost Rider film en bevestigde dat Nicolas Cage de rol van Johnny Blaze zal spelen!:
So, first off. Casting. Mr. Cage will be Johnny Blaze. Take it from me. That's a done deal. And I could not be happier. Nic is in the shape of his life. Lean and mean, like a motorcycle stunt rider should. I've cast a few more parts but I should wait until the official announcements come (very soon). But safe to say, when in doubt? Listen to Biggun!
The Budget. Nice to see that we've been "upgraded" from a $40 million dollar movie to a $51 million dollar movie! Maybe that's enough for a Dazzler movie but not for a Ghost Rider movie! Seriously, this is an event movie. And Sony knows how to make them right. Rest assured.
