Alien vs. Predator:
Coming Soon is naar Praag
geweest om een bezoekje te brengen aan de set van Alien vs. Predator! Ze spraken met de cast en crew
én mochten een blik werpen op de design van deze buitenaardse wezens:
"What I can tell you is that while touring the sets, and even running into some of the actors at the hotel, everyone and I mean everyone is excited about working on this film. The "problems" with the creatures, reported on another website, are no more than the problems you would normally have with a big effects sci-fi shoot. The Aliens are NOT "silver." They are the slimy black creatures that reflect whatever light they happen to be in that we've all come to know and love. There are design changes (the hands are larger) and occasionally a robotic alien, puppeteer off camera, is used for shots that involved repetitive fast movements or teeth to shoot out."

Biel talks Blade:
Texas Chainsaw Massacre ster Jessica Biel vertelde iets meer over haar rol als Abigail in de nieuwe Blade: Trinity horror flick!
You're playing Abigail, the daughter of Blade's trainer and confidant, Whistler...
Abigail is Whistler's daughter, so she's really mentally strong and kind of a closed-off person because she's had all this death in her family because of the vampires. I think she feels the need to [pursue] a lot of vengeance for her familiy. She's more of a stoic character-but incredibly smart and incredibly able, trained and deadly with her weapons. But she just does her job and moves along. She doesn't take it all in though; she just lets it all roll off of her. There are some vulnerable moments for her, but she's very stoic.
What's it like to have Kris Kristofferson playing your dad?
We never actually see Whistler and Abigail together in this movie. I never get to shoot with Kris. But they don't have a close relationship simply because he's been training Blade and she came to him when she was probably about 18 or so and said, "This is in me, this is part of my blood. I want to be part of this fight." So she's been training separately in secret, but he is her mentor. He's her hero. She puts him on a pedestal. And as the movie goes on, Abigail begins to see Blade as a father figure because all her life she's heard about Blade. And here's this guy, who her father trained for years, and knows her father better than even she does. She idolizes him.

Silver Surfer movie!:
Marvel Studios Vice President Kevin Feige sprak met Wizard Magazine over de Silver Surfer film!:
"You're going to start hearing a lot about Silver Surfer," he promises. "It'll be our next big project with Fox after 'Fantastic Four.' We're excited about jumping into it for the same reasons every college kid in the '60s and '70s was reading it. It's a hard-core science fiction, philosophical, adventure movie. Silver Surfer's going to kick some *ss in the next two or three years."

Tom Welling talks Superman movie:
Smallville ster Tom Welling sprak over de Superman film. De studio heeft hem benaderd om de hoofdrol te vertolken maar
voorlopig is Welling nog druk bezig met de succesvolle Smallville serie.
"its not totally out of the question. at the moment, that decision lies more with the producers of the show, than it does with me. I woudn't knock back the offer. Basically, if they think this might be the last season of Smallville, than it would be the perfect opportunity. We could continue Clark's story on the big screen, and that's something the studio and the new director [he didnt say who it was] are considering."

Man-Thing screening:
Een bron van AICN heeft een rough cut
gezien van Man-Thing. De film is gebasseerd op de Marvel comic en Brett Leonard, bekend van
The Lawnmower Man, is verantwoordelijk voor de regie:
"Just saw a work print of MAN-THING. It was still rough around the edges and I heard that the Arad's, based on notes from writer Hans Rodionoff, were making a few editorial changes, and adding some scenes to help tie the film together a little bit more, but on the whole, it was really, really good. I was impressed.
Director Brett Leonard has really suprised me here, the film is incredibly well shot and looks phenomenal for the money. He's got a touch of M. Knight-itus with a very small part played by himself, which was weak, but I think on the whole, it's a winner. Considering the money they spent on it, and that it has now been slated for a theatrical release rather than straight to video, the Marvel boys have high hopes for this one."
