Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson are John Beckwith and Jeremy Grey, professional Wedding Crashers. The men select their weddings with one goal, to score chicks. It doesn't matter if it's Jewish, Italian, Irish or Asian, they know exactly how to sneak in to get their prey. They live by the Wedding Crashers rules until John breaks the most important one. He falls in love with Claire (Rachel McAdams), daughter of the powerful Treasury Secretary Cleary (Christopher Walken). Jeremy wants out but also doesn't want to let his buddy down.
Director David Dobkin previously directed Vaughn in Clay Pigeons and Wilson in Shanghai Knights, so he knows the strengths of the actors. Well, it's quite simple, put the guys in a scene and the magic happens. Vaughn is a master at improvisation and Wilson knows exactly how to react, which results in spontaneous and very funny moments. Christopher Walken is cool as the dry Secretary Cleary. Jane Seymour is also great in a small role as Cleary's wife who falls for Owen's character. Wedding Crashers also offers an awesome surprise act of one of my favorite comedians! Nope, I'm not gonna tell ya, just see for yourself.
That's all I can say about this film. I had a blast watching the flick, the 'jerk-off sequence' during an important dinner is one of the highlights of the movie. Wedding Crashers is fantastic, great R-rated humor without going over-the-top, an outstanding comedy thanks to great performances of Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson.
