Movie: Herbie: Fully Loaded

Herbie is back with a new adventure! The white love bug got a big tune up at Disney's garage and is ready to entertain a new generation. Herbie appeared onscreen in the 60's and 70's, delivered a few TV movies the years after. Herbie's new driver for his comeback is teen idol Lindsay Lohan, the rest of the cast includes Michael Keaton, Matt Damon and Justin Long.
The story in a nutshell:
Maggie Peyton (Lindsay Lohan) is the new owner of the Volkswagen Love Bug called Herbie. Maggie's dad Ray (Keaton) and her bro Ray Jr. (Breckin Meyer) are legendary NASCAR racers. The young girl gets the chance to continue the family tradition but only wants to join the race if she can drive Herbie.
Herbie: Fully Loaded is a family flick. Just like Racing Stripes (which isn't Disney's), the story revolves around a single father who must raise a teen daughter, they have some obstacles along the way, but everything will be just fine at the end of the ride. The kids flicks aren't that original these days, especially Disney's.
So don't have any high expectations and Herbie: Fully Loaded will be a fun hour and a half. Screenwriters Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (Spider-man 2 and Smallville) managed to spice up the predictable story with a few fun moments. Matt Damon is cool as the movie's villain and there are plenty of nice Herbie stunts to enjoy. Herbie: Fully Loaded offers a fun ride for the kids, a new generation meeting the legendary rusty bug.
