Movie: Blade Trinity
Director: David S. Goyer
Actors: Wesley Snipes, Kris Kristofferson, Jessica Biel, Ryan Reynolds, Parker Posey, Triple H,

The Daywalker (Wesley Snipes) is back with a new adventure, and this time he gets the help of other vampire hunters, The Night Stalkers, played by Jessica Biel and Ryan Reynolds. Kris Kristofferson is also back as Blade's weapon provider, and loyal friend, Whistler. David S. Goyer, writer and producer of the previous Blade movies, directed Blade Trinity himself.

The story in a nutshell:
The war between the vampires and Blade reaches its climax. The vampires come up with a plan to frame Blade. Blade is being trapped and arrested by the local authority. There's no way he can continue his war when he's in jail. Fortunately, he gets the help of the next vampire hunting generation, The Night Stalkers. They help Blade escape, cause they need his experience to fight the vampires' new secret weapon... Dracula!

Wesley Snipes isn't the centerpiece of Blade Trinity. The new characters are better than the performance of Snipes. Ryan Reynolds (Van Wilder) as wisecracking Night Stalker Hannibal King simply steals the show. Snipes on the other hand seems a bit lost. The good news, Whistler's back! The bad news, he's only got a few minutes of screen time.
The other two Blade films, the first directed by Stephen Norrington and the second by Guillermo del Toro, were an incredible mix of hardcore horror and action. David S. Goyer wrote the wonderful scripts for both flicks and also came up with something new for Blade Trinity. The ultimate fight between Blade and Dracula, that's a fanboy's wet dream. Unfortunately, Dracula, the meanest vampire of the world, isn't that threatening and dangerous looking. Even the transformation of Dracula (Dominic Purcell) into his monstrous looking alter ego doesn't save the showdown.
David S. Goyer directed this third and probably final film of the series. His film just doesn't get off the ground, partly because of the non-existing chemistry between the actors. The good thing about Blade Trinity is that it's absolutely loaded with action but it also has a lot less horror than the previous films. David S. Goyer delivered an action-packed film but it doesn't reach the level of the other excellent Blade movies.
