Born and raised in Utrecht, The Netherlands, Reggy Hafkenscheid decided to dedicate his life to film after watching 'Superman The Movie' at his local movie theater. Comics and films inspired him to draw, and eventually helped him to become the artist he is today.

To feed his passion for the magic of moving pictures, Reggy began his career as a film critic, but later on decided to set up the international film website, 'movieXplosion.com,' a place where he could freely discuss the upcoming movies in his own unique way; from the heart of a true movie fanatic.

Reggy is also active as an illustrator, storyboard artist, concept designer and creative consultant for the international film industry. Side projects include character and environmental designs for video games.

His next challenge is to create movie magic as a screenwriter. Reggy has written action-packed and character driven film scripts for the Asian market (Hong Kong and Bangkok), which hopefully brings an explosive new twist to the martial arts and action genre.
