Peter Jackson talks The Hobbit:
Guillermo del Toro is de regisseur van The Hobbit, maar gelukkig is Peter Jackson nog aanwezig als producer en writer. Volgens Jackson is het script afgerond;
"The Hobbit will be two movies and we've written the first script and delivered it to the studio who seem to be happy with it. We're now halfway through the second script and Philippa, Fran, Guillermo and myself are doing the scripts and having great fun.
It was an interesting experience because eight or nine years have passed since we wrote the 'Lord of the Rings' screenplays and I was worried it'd be weird or hard or uncomfortable to go back there, but as soon as we started writing the scripts it was fun, actually, and easy."

Ryan Kavanaugh talks The Crow:
Producer Ryan Kavanaugh sprak over The Crow remake, well, ze noemen het een relaunch, dat geregisseerd wordt door Stephen Norrington (Blade). Check this out;
"The script is great. We're very excited about it. The Crow is definitely going to happen, we're just getting all the pieces together right now. It's not officially greenlit, but it's going to happen... I think in a couple months we could have the package together for sure."
Alright, en ze zijn zelfs bezig met de casting; "We're looking. We're in discussions....I think it's something cool, we're approaching it differently. It's really a whole relaunch of the franchise, much more of a dark superhero type."
Vervolgens maakte Kavanaugh bekend dat de make-up van The Crow 'totally different' wordt. I'll keep you guys posted on this one! Klik hier voor meer.

Hugh Jackman in Real Steel:
It's official, Hugh Jackman vertolkt de hoofdrol in de robot-boxing flick Real Steel, met Shawn Levy als de regisseur. De film is gebaseerd op een kort verhaal van Richard Matheson dat eerder verfilmd werd als een Twilight Zone episode.
Hugh Jackman speelt de rol van een ex-fighter die promoter wordt en vechters worden vervangen door robots.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon, een midnight record op donderdag, een new single day record op vrijdag en met $140.7 miljoen staat de film op de derde plaats van biggest opening weekend allertijden! Wereldwijd heeft de Twilight sequel overigens 258.8 miljoen opgebracht! Verder een opmerkelijke prestatie van Sandra Bullock's football flick The Blind Side dat met
