Edge of Darkness trailer!:
De nieuwe trailer van Edge of Darkness is nu online! De film is geregisseerd door Martin Campbell, de cast bestaat uit Mel Gibson, Ray Winstone, Danny Huston en Shawn Roberts. Nice to see Gibson back on the big screen. Klik op de pic voor de trailer, I'll be back with more news this weekend.

Jon Favreau talks Avengers!:
Iron Man 1 en 2 director Jon Favreau is niet van plan om ook de regie te verzorgen van de Avengers, waarin de Marvel superhelden Iron Man, Captain America en Thor samen te zien zijn. Hij sprak met MTV over het project, check this out;
"It's something I'm being the executive producer on, so I'll definitely have input and a say.
It's going to be hard, because I was so involved in creating the world of Iron Man and is very much a tech-based hero, and then with 'Avengers' you're going to be introducing some supernatural aspects because of Thor. How you mix the two of those works very well in the comic books, but it's going to take a lot of thoughtfulness to make that all work and not blow the reality that we've created."

Bryan Singer wants more X-Men!!!:
Bryan Singer, regisseur van X-Men en X2: X-Men United (let's forget about Brett Ratner's piece of crap called X-Men: The Last Stand) is geïnteresseerd in een nieuwe film met onze geliefde mutanten! De regisseur heeft zelfs een gesprek over de mogelijkheden gehad met Fox;
"I'm still looking to possibly returning to the 'X-Men' franchise. I've been talking to Fox about it. I love Hugh Jackman. I love the cast."
Volgens Singer geven science fiction en fantasy films de mogelijkheid om via entertainment serieuze onderwerpen te bespreken.

U.S. Box Office Oct 09-11:
De komedie Couples Retreat kwam met 35 miljoen dollars op de eerste plaats binnen. De echte grote winnaar is eigenlijk de low budget horror film Paranormal Activity, die maar draaide in 159 bioscoopzalen (vergeleken met de 3000 van Couples Retreat) en dankzij goede marketing en overweldigende buzz op de vijfde plaats terecht kwam! Spider-Man 4 update!:
Spider-Man 4 is in full production, en MTV kreeg de kans om een babbeltje te maken met Sam Raimi! De regisseur vertelde dat Gary Ross het script schrijft;
"He's working on a draft. I just gave him some notes and he's doing a rewrite right now.
The production is starting to come together. I've got a production designer who is starting to design the sets and the environments that the picture will take place in. We just brought aboard Scott Stokdyk as one of the two visual effects supervisors, and I worked with him on all three 'Spider-man' pictures."
Tobey Maguire en Kirsten Dunst zijn terug voor de hoofdrollen, but of course, nog belangrijker, wie wordt de nieuwe villain! Dat is helaas nog niet bekend, I'll keep you posted, klik op bovenstaande link voor meer.
