 Anton Yelchin vergezelt Mel Gibson en Jodie Foster in de komedie The Beaver. Mel Gibson vertolkt de rol van een depressieve man die troost vindt door een bever-handpop te dragen. Jodie Foster verzorgt de regie. Soure: Variety
De trailer van Up in the Air is online! De film wordt geregisseerd door Jason Reitman (Thank You for Smoking en Juno), de cast bestaat uit George Clooney, Vera Farmiga, Anna Kendrick en Jason Bateman. Klik hier voor de trailer!
Disney is terug met de old fashioned, handgetekende animatie The Princess and the Frog en de nieuwe trailer is nu online right here! John Musker en Ron Clements (The Little Mermaid, Aladdin) regisseren, Randy Newman schrijft de muziek!

A beast is loose somewhere north of the Artic Circle. It has already decimated a secret research facility and annihilated a squad of elite military guards. Newsflash:
De eerste set pics van The Green Hornet zijn online! Na een paar delays, is de film nu eindelijk van de grond met Michel Gondry als regisseur, Seth Rogen als The Green Hornet en Jay Chou als zijn sidekick Kato. Support cast bestaat uit Nicholas Cage en Cameron Diaz. Klik hier voor de pics!
Coole behind-the-scenes clip van de Clash of the Titans remake is verschenen! Louis Leterrier regisseert, Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes en Mads Mikkelsen vertolken de hoofdrollen! Klik hier voor de clip!
Verder online, de action packed clip van James McTeigue's Ninja Assassin, met in de hoofdrol Rain, Naomie Harris, Ben Miles, Sho Kosugi en Rick Yune. De film is geproduceerd door the Wachowski Brothers. De clip lijkt op de G.I. Joe chase sequence maar dan met minder CG en veel meer ninja-action! Klik op de pic voor meer!

Posters:
Nieuwe posters zijn online, de eerste is van Werner Herzog's Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans, met Nicolas Cage, Eva Mendes en Val Kilmer. De poster is een beetje standaard, but I'm looking forward to this one though. De volgende poster is een stuk interessanter, check out Spike Jonze's fantasy flick Where the Wild Things Are, met Catherine Keener, Max Records, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Cooper, James Gandolfini en Forest Whitaker. Rambo V story details!:
AICN heeft Rambo V story details ontvangen van Sly Stallone himself, en het verhaal is totaal anders dan de vakbladen van de week vermeldden. Here's a clip;
"It is set in the Pacific Northwest. Back in the general area where we first were introduced to John. It seems that somewhere in that Area there is a U.S. Military installation that is doing experiments on elite soldiers as part of some sort of program where they're attempting to tap into that SAVAGERY that we have deeply embedded into us. The plan is create brilliantly instinctual killer soldiers that have no qualms about taking life. Sly brought up the ancient Immortals, which were cartoonishly glimpsed in 300. In reality, they were children trained from the time they were infants to kill.
Well as happens with Government Experiments to create the perfect killer - it goes exceptionally well... and then exceptionally badly. And Rambo is brought in with a Black Ops squad ("Like in PREDATOR") to hunt, capture or kill this worse than Rambo killer."
Pretty intense, maar ook weer iets te veel sci-fi naar mijn mening, anway, Rambo's back and that makes me pretty happy!

Dit is niet echt filmnieuws maar ik ben de grootste Superman fan in Nederland en moest dit gewoon op de site plaatsen. Check out een promo shot van Tom Welling in een nieuw seizoen van Smallville! Ik hoop dat die snel zijn rood-blauwe kostuum zal dragen!
