Vin Diesel and Paul Walker return for the fourth installment of the fast cars and hot chicks series. The story picks up years after the first film, The Fast and The Furious. Dominic Toretto (Diesel) lives as a fugitive in the Dominican Republic but returns to L.A. after the death of his girlfriend. Dom starts his own investigation, but gets in the way of the undercover FBI agent Brian O'Conner (Walker). A dangerous drug kingpin seems to be the main suspect and Toretto and O'Conner need to get close to his gang, using both their own tactics, until they're being forced to team up.
Fast & Furious holds all the ingredients from the previous flicks, you know exactly what you gonna get. Muscle cars, hot babes and exiting car chases accompanied by a dope hip hop beat. Though the first flick is still the best, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker's presence in part four is a big plus. The two characters still have some stuff to settle from the first flick, which builds up to a great confrontation in this movie. Unfortunately, the rest of the film doesn't hold any surprises. But the series' fans probably won't give a shit, they will have a fun ride with Fast & Furious anyway, and what the heck, a slick little action flick once in a while doesn't hurt, right?
