A pretty funny trailer for the comedy The Pineapple Express is now up! The film is produced by Judd Apatow and stars Seth Rogen, James Franco, Gary Cole and, look who's back, Rosie Perez! Woohoo! Click here to check it out!

Newsflash:
Brad Pitt will produce and possibly star in the adaptation of the nonfiction book Lost City of Z. The story's about the explorer Col. Percy Harrison Fawcett (Brad Pitt), who disappeared while attempting to find the City of Z. Over the next 70 years, others tried and failed to retrace Fawcett's path.
Christopher Plummer and Helen Mirren will replace Anthony Hopkins and Meryl Streep in The Last Station. The film is based on the life of the Russian writer and philosopher Leo Tolstoy. James McAvoy and Paul Giamatti will also star.
Rapper-actor Mos Def will play the legendary Chuck Berry in Cadillac Records. The biopic follows the life of the 1950s Chess Records founder Leonard Chess, which will be played by Adrien Brody.

The gambling flick 21, starring Jim Sturgess, Kate Bosworth and Kevin Spacey, entered the top spot with 23 million dollars! The animated feature Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who fell down to second position but managed to cross the $100 million mark. Here's the rest of the Top Ten;

Writers Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio (Pirates of the Caribbean flicks) are in final negotiations to write a new take on The Lone Ranger! The masked hero, created back in the 30's, was riding a white stallion named Silver and had a sidekick called Tonto, yep, I still got the action figures. Uber-producer Jerry Bruckheimer is also involved. Man, I loved the show when I was a kid, looking forward to the film! Source: The Hollywood Reporter
Interesting casting development, Lindsay Lohan will play one of Charles Manson's devoted followers in the biopic Manson Girls. Source: ET online
Dennis Quaid, Tyrese Gibson, Jon Tenney, Charles S. Dutton, Lucas Black, Kate Walsh, Adrianne Palicki, Kevin Durand and Willa Holland will join Paul Bettany in Legion. The thriller revolves around archangel Michael, who's the only one standing between mankind and an apocalypse, after God loses faith in humanity. Source: Variety
