Newsflash:
Hi guys, here's the last update of the week, I'll be back with more news this weekend, enjoy;
J.K. Rowling's final book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, will be released in two movies so they've got enough time to tell the whole final chapter... and earn more money! David Yates who directed Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, is back on board for the last two flicks.
The final trailer for Speed Racer is now online! The flick is directed by the Wachowksi Brothers (The Matrix) and stars Emile Hirsch, Christina Ricci, John Goodman, Susan Sarandon and Matthew Fox. The colorful trailer is awesome! Make sure you download the HD version right here.
The first trailer for Louis Leterrier's The Incredible Hulk hit the web... and to be honest, I'm not sold... yet. You be the judge, click on the pic to check it out! The flick stars Edward Norton, Liv Tyler, Tim Roth, William Hurt, Tim Blake Nelson and Ty Burrell.

Bryan Singer talks Superman sequel!:
This time, the director himself talks about the Superman sequel! Bryan Singer confirmed that work's under way. Here's what he said about the first flick and the direction he will take the second one;
"Look, I can understand, I suppose, what some people mean. Perhaps some people went in with the expectation of it being like an X-Men film, and Superman is a tougher character than that. Especially bringing him back. It really goes back to the fact that you can only please some of the people some of the time. But, yes, I'm just getting back with writers after the strike. We're just in the development phase. I'm starting to develop a sequel...with the intention of directing it.
The first one was a romantic film and a nostalgic film. I'll be the first person to own up to that without making any apologies for it. I knew it was going to be that from the outset. And now that the characters are established, there's really an opportunity to up the threat levels...Clearly there'll be a body count. From frame one, it will be unrelenting terror! All those teenage girls who found the movie and mooned over James Marsden or Brandon? Well, I'm going to wake them up!"
Yeah! I loved Superman Returns, hope the sequel will be put on a fast track!

Newsflash:
Hi guys, interesting directing updates today, check this out;
Brett Ratner (X-Men: The Last Stand, Rush Hour 3) will turn the comic Harbinger into a live-action flick. The story revolves around Harbingers who are humans with powers that can be unlocked by omega harbingers. Source: Variety
Neil Marshall's (Dog Soldiers, Doomsday) next will be the horror film Sacrilege, which will take place in the Old West. "It is set during the Gold Rush," Marshall said, "A time remembered for incidents like the Donner Party. It is meant to be a pitch-black, gritty, period horror movie. This is Unforgiven by way of H.P. Lovecraft, with that grim, gritty setting and a horror element nobody has seen before." Sounds very interesting! Source: Variety
Len Wiseman (Live Free or Die Hard, Underworld) will direct the sci-fi flick Shell Game. The film revolves around a detective who investigates the dangerous black-market business of immortality. Source: Variety
And great news for the Superman fans, Bryan Singer is back, prepping the Superman sequel! The word is that writers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman will replace Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris who left the project. The writers duo is apparently in talks and have had several meetings. For those who don't know them, well, they wrote the upcoming Star Trek and Transformers, which means, they're able to put more action into the sequel! Source: IESB
