Trailers!:
Hi guys, a quick update with the latest trailers to end the week. I'll be back with a new one this weekend.
The following trailers look like a lot of fun. First, Steve Carell stars in the spy comedy Get Smart. Rest of the cast includes Anne Hathaway, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Alan Arkin and Terence Stamp. Click here for the funtastic trailer!

Newsflash:
Dwayne Johnson, also known as ex-wrestler The Rock, will star as... The Tooth Fairy?! What the heck?!!! In the comedy, The Rock will play an ordinary man who's brought in to try to save the tooth fairy kingdom. Come on, you gotta be kiddin' me? The good thing is that the script was written by Joshua Sternin & Jeffrey Ventimilia and veterans Lowell Ganz & Babaloo Mandel (City Slickers, Parenthood). Source: Variety
Justice League is back on track for a 2009 release, now that the strike is over! The script is being polished by writers Kieran and Michele Mulroney. Adam Brody is The Flash, Common is Green Lantern, Armie Hammer Jr. is Batman and Megan Gale is Wonder Woman. George Miller is still attached to direct. Source: Variety

Newsflash:
Max von Sydow, Emily Mortimer and Jackie Earle Haley join the cast of Martin Scorsese's drama Shutter Island. The story revolves around two U.S. marshals who travel to a Massachusetts island to investigate the disappearance of a patient from a hospital for the criminally insane. Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, Michelle Williams and Patricia Clarkson also star in the film which is based on Dennis Lehane's novel. Source: The Hollywood Reporter
Jason Statham is back in Transporter 3! The rest of the cast includes Francois Berleand and Robert Knepper. Original director Louis Leterrier has been replaced by Hitman's second-unit director Olivier Megaton. Source: Variety

The 2008 Oscar Winners!:
No Country for Old Men was the big winner at the 80th Annual Academy Awards! The flick won the golden statue for best adapted screenplay, Javier Bardem won for best supporting role, Coen brothers for best directing and the most important one, the best picture! Great job, guys! Daniel Day-Lewis received the Oscar for his amazing performance in There Will Be Blood. The Bourne Ultimatum won three technical awards for editing, sound mixing and sound editing. Too bad The Golden Compass beat Transformers and got the award for best visual effects.

Hugo Weaving in The Wolfman:
Hugo Weaving, better known as Agent Smith from The Matrix, joins Benicio Del Toro and Emily Blunt in The Wolfman. The film is a new take on Universal's classic monster flick and will be directed by Joe Johnston (Jurassic Park III). Benicio Del Toro will play the leading role, Anthony Hopkins also stars as The Wolfman's dad.
