James Bond 22 has a title!!!:
The official title for the 22nd James Bond film is...... "Quantum of Solace"! And I have no freaking idea what it means! Daniel Craig vertelde het volgende; "We could have gone for a snappier title but that's not part of the deal...It ties into the plot, it's not some random title."
De titel werd ook gebruikt voor een van Ian Fleming's korte verhalen dat in 1960 werd gepubliceerd. Here's the official synopsis;
"The new film sees 007 (Daniel Craig) out for revenge on a mission that takes him to Austria, Italy and South America. Bond girl Camille, played by Ukrainian-born Olga Kurylenko, leads the secret agent to Dominic Greene (Mathieu Amalric), member of a mysterious organization and a ruthless businessman, seeking to control huge natural resources."
De nieuwe Bond pakt de draad op vlak na Casino Royale, interesting stuff. Well, dat was weer de laatste update van de week, volgende is dit weekend.

Heath Ledger found dead:
Man, I was shocked, ik kon het niet geloven toen ik gisterenavond het nieuws las over Heath's dood. Ik heb veel respect voor deze acteur omdat hij de Hollywood rules aan zijn laars lapte en ging voor de kleine indie flicks in plaats van de grote blockbusters. Zijn performance in Monster's Ball en Brokeback Mountain was indrukwekkend. Later dit jaar zien we Heath nog een keer schitteren op het grote scherm in The Dark Knight.
My thoughts go out to his family and friends. Heath Ledger was 28.

The Academy Awards Nominations!:
The Oscar nominations 2008 are in! No Country for Old Men en There Will Be Blood zijn de grote kanshebbers met de belangrijkste nominaties, waaronder best flick en best directing of the year. Grote verassingen zijn o.a. Viggo Mortensen in Eastern Promises, Casey Affleck in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford en Amy Ryan in Gone Baby Gone. Newsflash:
 Oliver Stone's volgende film wordt de biopic Bush. De regisseur vertelde dat hij geen anti-Bush film gaat maken maar een indruk wil geven hoe Bush aan de macht is gekomen. Josh Brolin (American Gangster, No Country for Old Men) vertolkt de hoofdrol. Source: Variety
Adrien Brody is naast Jeffrey Wright te zien in Cadillac Records. De film speelt zich af in de jaren 50, Brody is de blues record executive Leonard Chess en Wright vertolkt de rol van Muddy Waters. Source: Variety
