Movie: 10,000 BC
Director: Roland Emmerich
Actors: Steven Strait, Camilla Belle, Cliff Curtis

The young mammoth hunter D'Leh (Steven Strait) is, according to the prophecy, the one who saves his tribe from extinction. Unfortunately, the hunter only has eyes for the beautiful cavewoman Evolet (Camilla Belle). When a mysterious gang enters his village and kidnaps Evolet, D'Leh sets up a rescue mission. Fate leads him to the end of the world where he encounters another, powerful civilization that uses thousands of slaves to build the pyramids. The battle to free the slaves, oh and of course Evolet, begins!

Roland Emmerich, director of blockbusters Stargate, Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow, delivers another huge visual effects spectacle with mammoths, saber-tooth tigers and other prehistoric creatures. I will not mention the fact that he distorts the history of civilization in a very nonchalant way. I entered the theater with hope, I went home pissed off. 10,000 BC is a soulless movie. A story with a ridiculous plot, scenes, I'm not using the word 'stolen', but let's say 'seen' in Conan, Peter Jackson's King Kong and even 300. There wasn't one moment in the film in which I could connect to the characters, all because of the stupid story. I know that Emmerich's flicks are brainless fun, but 10,000 BC is really pushing it!
10,000 BC is one cliché after another, poorly executed (I'll keep my mouth shut about the ending), packed in a shiny visual effects box. Sorry, guys, I really hate it when millions of dollars are being wasted.

This movie sucks!
