Nicolas Cage is set to star in the thriller Knowing, which will be directed by Alex Proyas (I, Robot)! Cage will play a teacher who examines the contents of a time capsule. He discovers predictions in the time capsule that lead him to believe the world is going to end. Source: Variety

U.S. Box Office Dec 07-09:
As expected, The Golden Compass is the new #1 flick at the American Box Office! The fantasy epic opened with 26 million dollars, which is a bit less than the studio hoped for. Here's the rest of the Top Ten;
