Strause Brothers talk AVP-R:
Directors Greg Strause and Colin Strause talked to MTV about their upcoming Aliens vs. Predator - Requiem! You all know how I (and the rest of the fans) hated Paul W.S. Anderson's AVP, well, the Strause brothers promises that this flick will be totally different. They also talked about Anderson in the following clips from the interview;
"The studio knew that, although the last movie made a lot of money, it didn't really resonate solidly with the fans. To get the same people back into the theater a second time, it was gonna be a bit of an uphill battle. We really have to prove to the fans that this movie's gonna be very different from the last one. We wanted to go R-rated with it, I mean, we chest-burst a little kid!
The only thing director Paul W.S. Anderson did correctly was bring people closer together in their community hatred of him. This movie works even if you didn't see Anderson's."
That's great! Man, I really hope they'll deliver the ultimate Alien vs. Predator flick, we've all been waiting for. Click on the above link for the rest of the interview, it's pretty spoiler-filled though, so handle with care.

Newsflash:
Nice juicy update today, guys, below the latest headlines;
Joseph Kosinski (Logan's Run remake) is in final talks to develop and direct Tron, which is described as "the next chapter" of Disney's 1982 classic. Steven Lisberger, the director of the original, will serve as producer.
Jennifer Hudson (Dreamgirls) joins the cast of Sex and the City: The Movie. Hudson will play the assistant to Sarah Jessica Parker's Carrie Bradshaw. Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon and Chris Noth will also reprise their roles.
Don Cheadle is set to star in Hotel for Dogs. The live action flick is based on Lois Duncan's 1971 children's book about two orphaned teenagers who hide a bunch of stray dogs in an abandoned hotel. Emma Roberts will also star.
Time for another remake, Nelson McCormick will direct a new version of the 80's horror flick, The Stepfather. The story centers on a boy who discovers that his new stepfather is a serial killer.

Maria Bello talks Mummy 3:
Maria Bello, the beautiful blonde with the amazing dark eyes, yeah, I really love her, will dye her hair for the upcoming The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor! What? Yup, she plays Rachel Weisz's role in the sequel, next to Brendan Fraser and Jet Li. Maria talked about her take on the character, check it out;
"She has the same name, but she's a very different character than Rachel played. She's a bad-ass action chick. I had to train a lot. I had to do wushu, a martial-art form, some kick-boxing, swordfighting, rifle training for a couple of months before we even started shooting. It's the role of my dreams. It is just a blast."
To be honest with Jet Li and Maria Bello attached, man, this could be a fun flick. Rob Cohen will direct, by the way.
