Newsflash:
Hi guys, the last update of the week, I'll be back with a new one this weekend!;
Roland Emmerich will direct a remake of the 1966 sci-fi film Fantastic Voyage. The story centers on a group of scientists who gets miniaturized in a ship and injected into the bloodstream of their dying colleague (think 'Honey, I shrunk the... scientists'). Emmerich also directed Stargate, Independence Day and is currently working on 10,000 BC. Source: Variety

U.S. Box Office August 10-12:
Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan once again rocked the Box Office with another Rush Hour flick! Though the $50 million opening is a bit less than Rush Hour 2's opening weekend, it did manage to beat the crap out of Jason Bourne. 1. Rush Hour 3 - $50,240,000 (new)
2. The Bourne Ultimatum - $33,670,000 / $132,343,000
3. The Simpsons Movie - $11,125,000 / $152,237,000
4. Stardust - $9,011,000 (new)
5. Underdog - $6,456,000 / $24,747,000
6. Hairspray - $6,370,000 / $92,113,000
7. I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry - $5,950,000 / $103,849,000
8. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - $5,385,000 / $272,000,000
9. No Reservations - $3,925,000 / $32,095,000

Re-enter The Dragon?!!!:
Yeah... they're gonna remake Enter the Dragon, and you know what, this sounds really cool! The Shield's executive producer, Kurt Sutter, will write and make his feature directing debut on Awaken the Dragon. The film will be a noir-style remake of Enter the Dragon, the classic martial arts flick that starred the one and only Bruce Lee. The story revolves around a FBI agent who pursues a Shaolin monk into the bloody world of underground martial arts fight clubs. Here's what Sutter said;
"I wanted to set it in these underground fight clubs where the action is really raw and expose the brutality of Shaolin kung fu. This will be more 'Raging Bull' than 'Crouching Tiger' in its viciousness."
