Watchmen cast revealed!:
The complete cast for the superhero flick Watchmen has been revealed. The film, set in an alternate America, will be directed by 300's Zack Snyder and revolves around costumed hero Rorschach who's investigating a possible conspiracy, after a former masked-hero colleague has been killed.
Watchmen will star Patrick Wilson as Nite-Owl, Jackie Earle Haley as Rorschach, Matthew Goode as Ozymandias, Billy Crudup as Dr. Manhattan, Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Comedian and Malin Akerman as The Silk Spectre.
Great cast, I'm excited this is finally goin' to happen! I'll be back with a new update this weekend.

Beowulf trailer!!!:
The first spectacular trailer for the fantasy epic Beowulf is online! The Robert Zemeckis directed film uses the same mo-cap techniques, as seen in The Polar Express.
Beowulf features performances by Angelina Jolie, Anthony Hopkins, Ray Winstone, John Malkovich, Brendan Gleeson, Dominic Keating, Alison Lohman and Robin Wright Penn. Click here to enter the official site, click on the pic to check out the trailer.

D.J. Caruso (Disturbia) will bring the comic Y: The Last Man to the big screen. The story centers on a mysterious plague that kills the world's male mammals overnight. Source: Variety
Joel Schumacher is in talks to direct a remake of the Hong Kong thriller Breaking News. The story centers on the media's involvement during a shoot out between cops and bank robbers who are hiding in a run-down building. Cool trailer for the monster flick D-Wars is online! The film stars Jason Behr, Amanda Brooks and Robert Forster. They've been working on this film for quite some time but it finally will hit theaters right after the summer, click here for some intense Dragon action!
Wes Anderson (The Royal Tenenbaums) is back with another comedy entitled The Darjeeling Limited. The film centers on three brothers played by Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody and Jason Schwartzman (where's Luke Wilson?), on a trip through India. Click here for the amazing looking trailer! First shots of Will Smith in a supersuit hit the web! Smith plays in John Hancock a tortured superhero, Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman also star. I'm glad they've changed the movie's title, it's a lot better that the previous Tonight, He Comes. Click on the pic for more!

U.S. Box Office July 20 - 22:
Despite the mixed reviews, Adam Sandler's new comedy I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry managed to enter the first spot with 34 million dollars! Other newcomer, the musical remake Hairspray, did very well with its third position. Here's the rest of the Top Ten:

Newsflash:
Gavin Hood will direct Wolverine! The relatively unknow South African director won the foreign film Oscar for Tsotsi. David Benioff (Troy) wrote the script and Hugh Jackman will be back as Wolverine.
Seth Rogen (Knocked Up, The 40-Year-Old Virgin) will write and star in The Green Hornet. The film is based on the comic book and TV series that introduced Bruce Lee as Kato.
