Newsflash:
Hi guys, here's the last update of the week. I'll be back with more news this weekend!;
Jon Favreau is currently filming Iron Man and AICN found out that another legendary character from the Marvel universe will make an appearence; Nick Fury! That's pretty cool, but it gets even cooler, Samuel L. Jackson will play the role! Hopefully it'll set things up for a stand-alone Nick Fury flick!
DreamWorks and Universal Pictures are planning to adapt the graphic novel Cowboys & Aliens. The western about cowboys who encounter a crash landing of a space ship, will be produced by Brian Grazer and Ron Howard. Source: Variety
General Zod himself, Terence Stamp, will join James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman and Angelina Jolie in Wanted. This film is also an adaptation of a graphic novel, the Russian filmmaker Timur Bekmambetov (Night Watch) will direct! Source: Variety

Marc Forster will direct Bond 22:
The new director for the 22nd James Bond film has been revealed; Forster, Marc Forster is the name! The director is responsible for the masterpieces Finding Neverland and Monster's Ball. I must admit, I'm pretty exited about the producer's decision to hire this guy. Here's what Forster had to say;
"I have always been drawn to different kinds of stories and I have also always been a Bond fan, so it is very exciting to take on this challenge. The new direction that the Bond character has taken offers a director a host of new possibilities and I look forward to working with Daniel Craig, Barbara Broccoli, and Michael Wilson, as well as the team at Sony and MGM on this new film."

The Dark Knight's Bat Chopper!:
Batman's got a new toy and it's called the Batpod!!! The pic appeared over at LA Times, who posted an interesting description of the impressive vehicle:
"A bike so outrageous it's hard to believe it was even built. It's not just because it's tricked out with grappling hooks, cannons and machine guns. The front and rear tires are both a monstrously huge 508 millimeters, and the engines are in the hubs of each wheel. Steering isn't by hand but by shoulder, since there aren't handlebars. Instead, there are shields that fit each arm like sleeves and have the ability to rotate around the bike's frame. The two foot pegs are set 3 1/2 feet apart on either side of the tank, which the rider lies on, belly down."
Pretty awesome, don't ya think? Click on the pic to read more and click here to see a high resolution Batsuit pic, that appeared all over the web last week! The Dark Knight is currently in production with Christopher Nolan in charge, the cast includes Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Aaron Eckhart, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Eric Roberts.
