Newsflash:
Hi guys, get ready for a big newsflash today, here we go!;
Robert Rodriguez (Sin City) will direct a remake of Barbarella! Casino Royale screenwriters Neal Purvis and Robert Wade are working on the update of the 1968 classic that starred Jane Fonda. "I love this iconic character and all that she represents, and I'm truly excited by the challenge of inviting a new audience into her universe", Rodriguez said. Source: Variety
Kenneth Branagh joins Tom Cruise in Valkyrie, the WWII drama that will be directed by Superman Returns' Bryan Singer. The story revolves around a plan designed by German generals to assassinate Hitler. Source: Variety
John Turturro is cracking nuts along with Nathan Lane and Elle Fanning in the fantasy musical inspired by Tchaikovsky's ballet The Nutcracker. Andrei Konchalovsky will direct the film entitled Nutcracker; The Untold Story. If Konchalovsky doesn't ring a bell, then check out Runaway Train and Tango & Cash! Source: Variety
Interesting new clip for Fantastic Four; Rise of the Silver Surfer is online right here.
First look at the Terminator spin-off TV series, The Sarah Connor Chronicles, is up right here. It looks cool, but I've got mixed feelings about it.
Very impressive trailer for The Golden Compass is also up! The fantasy flick stars Nicole Kidman, Daniel Craig and Eva Green (err... wait, they're together again after Casino Royale?). Be sure to check it out by clicking on the pic!

Johnny Depp on Pirates 4 and 5?!:
Johnny Depp is ready to return as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates 4 and even 5! Check this out;
"I'm the luckiest guy in the world to have had such a great experience. If I walk away from Jack now, I'll walk away with some amazing memories. But At World's End leaves open the possibility of a fourth or fifth movie, which I wouldn't be opposed to on an actor level because I feel there is a lot more territory to explore with Captain Jack. I've never really felt I'm done with playing the character, so why shouldn't we try a fourth and a fifth?."
Stay tuned for my Pirates of the Caribbean; At World's End review later today!
