Casting update:
A nice bunch of casting tidbits to end the week, guys. I'll be back with a new update this weekend!;
Tom "Magnum" Selleck returns to the small screen! The actor will take on a leading role in Las Vegas, after series star James Caan announced he would exit the show. Source: E! online
Eddie Murphy will play multiple characters in the big-screen adaptation of Fantasy Island. The family-oriented comedy is based on the popular 70s/80s TV series that starred Ricardo Montalban.
Matthew Perry and Hilary Swank are set to star in the comedy Laws of Motion. Perry plays a husband struggling with his life, career, family and community.
Sam Rockwell, Toby Jones and Matthew Macfadyen will star in Ron Howard's Frost/Nixon. The film is based on the Broadway play with Frank Langella and Michael Sheen as Nixon and Frost. They will also reprise their roles for the film.
Luke Wilson plays the lead in the dramedy Henry Poole Is Here. The story revolves around a man who discovers he has only six weeks to live. The Mothman Prophecies' Mark Pellington will direct.
Laurence Fishburne and Cole Hauser join the crime thriller Tortured. The film centers on an undercover FBI agent (Hauser) who infiltrates a powerful crime syndicate.
Very happy with this one, Tim Roth will play the villain, Abomination, in The Incredible Hulk. Edward Norton and Liv Tyler also star, Louis Leterrier directs.

Terminator 4 on fast track!!!:
The Halcyon Company acquired the rights to all the Terminator franchise err.. rights! These rights include the right to produce any future Terminator films, as well as all future merchandising (and I guess the right to f*ck up the whole franchise).
Halcyon plans to immediately begin pre-production on Terminator 4, which will be the first of a trilogy. Terminator 3's executive producer Moritz Borman talks;
"With T3, we included many incidental details and plot points that, along with the main narrative, set the stage for an entirely new set of inter-related stories covering the future adventures of John Connor and the Terminators. This new Terminator trilogy will build upon the already huge worldwide Terminator fan base, which was both revitalized and expanded with the global success of T3."
I'm always in for a Terminator flick but it's too bad the creator of the franchise, James Cameron, isn't involved anymore.

Welcome back IESB.net! Paramount's legal dept. demanded that the site had to be shut down after their Iron Man spy video. But there was no violation of copyright whatsoever, so Paramount's aggressive approach was based on total b.s. Movie websites from around the world united and supported the website. Everything is up and running again, click here to find out more about the whole issue.

A reliable source confirmed to Freezedriedmovies that the villains for Spider-Man 4 will be The Lizard and Carnage! Check this out;
"In the third entry, Dr. Curt Connors (played by Dylan Baker) looks at a piece of symbiote with Peter Parker. The movie then travels along it's path without another mention of that "piece" of symbiote. This is the set up for Spider-Man 4 where that small piece of alien symbiote becomes CARNAGE. Yes Cletus Kasady is coming to the big screen, one of Spider-Man most horrifying and evil villains. Not only with Parker have to deal with the red lean mean killing machine, but Connors is set to become the long awaited LIZARD! these two villains have all been CONFIRMED for Spider-Man 4. There is talk of the Black Cat making her first appearance, but that's all but official."
