Matt Marsden (Black Hawk Down) will play a mercenary in Rambo IV: Pearl of the Cobra. The film will star and will be directed by Sly himself, hope it will kick ass just like Rocky Balbao did!
Well, I believe this is the hottest news of the week; Jeff Nathanson will write and direct the biopic Milli Vanilli. The popular duo became flops within a few seconds after the news that they could dance alright but weren't the ones singin'.

Terry Rossio talks Pirates 4?:
Terry Rossio, co-writer of the Pirates of the Caribbean flicks, talks a bit about a possible fourth film;
"It's like the fourth Indiana Jones picture - there are forces in play to make it happen, and forces in play to make it not happen. I think we will try to write a screenplay. I can't say if we'll be able to solve the challenge of making a good fourth film, or if our screenplay will be enough to get a film made."

Zack Snyder talks Watchmen:
300 director Zack Snyder gives an update on the superheroflick Watchmen;
"We're trying to get a budget together now that I feel like the movie is in a very cool place. I think the script is starting to become pretty cool. I've been talking to some actors--I'm not going to say who--but it's cool, because in some ways you can get real actors. You don't have to go Hollywood. So that's all going along. I've been drawing away, so I think it's coming along. They have talked about maybe shooting in the summer."

Sylvain White talks Ronin!:
Stomp the Yard director Sylvain White is planning to adapt Frank Miller's graphic novel Ronin. The story centers on a Japanese samurai who is reborn into a 21st Century New York. Here's what he had to say;
"The idea will be to stay close to the graphic novel. Ronin is very dense and very long so of course we are going to have to streamline the story to fit it within a movie time frame.
We are working off different scripts and trying to polish them. We are working off different versions that we got a couple of different authors. There's a really nice presentation that goes with it. It's basically saving the world back and forth and looking to develop it further once we set it up with Warner Bros."
Other Frank Miller's graphic novels already found its way to the big screen. Rodriguez did Sin City and Zack Snyder directed Miller's Spartan epic 300.

Nicolas Cage talks National Treasure 2!:
While promoting the upcoming Ghost Rider, Nicolas Cage also mentioned something about the sequel to National Treasure;
"I think National Treasure is a good one, because there are worse things to do than stimulate young people to look in their history books. There is no gunfire, there is no body count. It's really good entertainment for everybody and I enjoy that. I like the idea of playing a historical detective. This one is going to involve Abraham Lincoln and John Wilkes Booth and the Booth diary and Confederate gold and it has the potential to be more interesting than the first."
